Coaches and players have to be really safe this summer, here in Atlanta temperatures have been in the 90's consistently, yesterday in fact it was 98 F at my house. Let's just pray there are no deaths this season.

Agreed...Players and Coaches have to be very careful with the weather like it is...here in NC it is yet another "Code Red" Ozone day and the temps are supposed to be 94+....Tough conditions for any outside activity...

My Dad coaches high school in the lowcountry and instead of code red, he uses the Paris Island terminology and has "Black Flag" days. If it's a black flag day, they just go out in helmets and run through practice without contact.
