Seems a little high considering how well Clempsun's been playing, and that FSU is coming off a loss.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, that's because the name is Florida State and they've also beat us pretty bad the last 2 years. I hope they are mad because my boys are too!

are predicting that the FSU lost was part weather,
part non-motivation and part fluke...rather than
any lack of skill on Florida State's part.

You know...the spread between UofL Duke and
FSU/Duke wasn't much different. They lost to
Colo State by a similar margin as did UVA...
So it is possible that UofL just did start
living up to their preseason pub and FSU didn't
take them seriously.

UofL vs UK...The Crads didn't take the Cats serious.

We'll see on Thursday.

Keep in mind also that the FSU players may be looking ahead to the Miami game next week. I'm certain that they're already talking about it and that their minds are wandering to that game. Not exactly a distraction they need right now. Lets hope that Bobby can keep them focused. My concern is purely selfish as I am the quintessential Cane Fan and we wanted to play an undefeated FSU team to begin with. We certainly would rather at this point to play an FSU team with 1 loss. So, at the risk of choking on my own puke...GO NOLES....

I dont think the Noles are looking past Clemson. They know what they have to do because of last Thursday night. Its hard not to look past a team when your next game is against the #1 team in the country, but after last Thursday I think the Noles will be focused on just Clemson. Actually its more pressure on Miami then the Noles, #1 in the country, trying to make a repeat, all the attention will focus on Miami, even though you still have UCONN before us, you still have to "play the game". Im not saying Miami will lose, but crazier things have happend, and the football season is still young, they gave Boston College all they could handle in the season opener. We also have ND after Miami, and those fans are ONLY talking about the FSU game also, but they have a bigger obstacle in Air Force, we also have the week off prior to the ND game, something those fans seem to forget. FSU/Clemson first, then on to Miami.

You are absolutely right about that the pressure is on Miami. I've been a Cane fan far too long to even think that the UM players are not overlooking UConn. I'm sure they are. They always have before, so why would this year be different. We always look ahead to the FSU game no matter how high each of us is ranked. Every time we meet it like we're playing for world domination. I love it. I just hope that UConn doesn't upset us at home. I hate to sound cocky, but I have a feeling that we'll be ok. I don't however beleive that we'll cover the 46 point spread. That's just too much.

Tonight Clemson will fetch Bobby's boy a meaningful win. I have an unreasonable gut feeling about it.

I've got the feeling too, but I've gotta see it to believe it first.

I told a friend about this same feeling last week. Why not stick with a good thing?

Go Noles!!!

MsNole...Sugar you were off by 5 points...This
Honey, knows her football!

Odd...everyone's been talking about the FSU "D"...

Especially when facing the Number #1 Defense in
the ACC. Strange that Clemson only ran 17 plays
from scrimmage in the second half.

That's how many in a row....Oops, I've run out of
fingers...Time to start on the toes.

But Clemson...WILL whip NC State!

Nice game to both teams. It was very fun to watch. I'm a sucker for the big play, and that game was full of them. Truly an enjoyable experience. What is the latest on the Clemson player that hurt is leg? You just hate to see that no matter who is playing. Props to Nole Fan for not cheering the injury and for applauding the player as he was escorted off the field. Do you guys think you could send some of your fans down the road to Gainesville to teach them how to be good fans?

Hornsounder, a great game by all means!! I had said in another post when we were playing Duke to watch for Leon Washington on special teams, his time is coming, and he broke out last night!! He is always 1 or 2 steps away from breaking one for a TD. We will need to bring our A game on everything next Staurday, special teams, offense and defense. We lost to Louisville in OT, Clemson put up 31 points, hell...even UVA and Duke put up some points, and Iowa State came back and put up some points, so when you look at those teams and compare them to Miami, WE NEED TO BRING OUR A GAME FOR ALL 4 QUARTERS. As for the injured Clemson player I dont know what the injury is that he has, I do wish him the best in his recovery though, never like to see a player down

Garnet and Gold,
In my experience, it has not really mattered in the past which of our two teams had more talent when it came to playing each other. Everyone seems to lift their game to the next level. They games are always hard fought filled with drama and passion. I'm usually a nervous wreck before and during the game. I'm looking forward to another great contest. I would definitely prefer to win the game...hehe. Whatever happens, please promise that you'll beat the Gators. The only thing better than a once beaten Gator is a twice beaten Gator...ROFL.
