I wanted to stay independent, but as ya'll know FSU can't play basketball very well (and how we beat Duke last year was absolutely amazing) and the ACC is the BEST in that sport. I've watched Clemson, Georgia Tech in football for many eons and as far as this Nole is concerned, I am Very Proud to be a member of the ACC in all sports.

Guess that poster also forgot that we lost to North Carolina too. This poster sees that the rest of the ACC is doing an awesome job at competing for a chance at the NC.

Go ACC Teams!!!

JD...the Nole fans have to realize that they are no longer head and above the ACC!! I saw the same problems last night that they had last year with the same players!! I see another 4 loss year for the Noles at best!!

Of course, the Gates won't beat us cause the game is being played at our place this year and if Spurrier couldn't win there, Zook won't either!!!

Ms Nole...that would be 9-4 for a 13 game season..not 10-4..also F$U was in their prime those years...After last night, and heck last season, can you honestly tell me you have the same swagger as those teams..I think not...The DB's looked like last year..horrible...Rivers,Ragone, Dorsey, and Rex will eat that secondary up!! Also the DE's are nowhere near what they used to be in that time frame!! Take of the garnet and gold glasses off and look around...12-0,10-2,8-4..you're program is in decline and Bobby will be leaving as soon as he can get the record!!

NCGB:
If you'd read carefully (granted not your strong suit, as the near-illiteracy of your spelling proves) you'll notice MsNole said REGULAR SEASON. 4 losses will still give us 10 wins, because (like it or not) even 4 regular season losses put us IN A BOWL.

Dear heavens, even a Gator fan ought to be able to figure that much out.

4 loses makes you 9-4 for the regular season...13 games...Don't ASSume you will win the bowl game...but you would be right IF you win that..but since, as you just stated she is talking about the REGULAR season...that would be 9 wins..Geeze what kind of math do they teach you in Tallahassee?????

Oh, and as far as the ACC bringing us down goes, if memory serves we've won two National Championships and played for 3 more since joining the league. (Which, incidentally, is double the number of National Championships won, and almost triple the number of championships played for, by UF.) What we called a disaster last year would be cause for contract extension at most schools, as the announcers last night pointed out.

NCGB, here's the math we learn in Tally:

TWO National Championships is more than ONE national championships.

ONE perfect wire-to-wire season is more than ZERO perfect wire to wire seasons.

Any questions?

15- 12- 1 -- the record of the current FSU head coach against the boys in blue. Does THAT math mean anything to you? If not, try these numbers on:

2 -- number of chances to beat its archrival UF that FSU had during its TWO National Championship seasons

2 -- number of chances UF had to beat its archrival FSU during its ONE N.Champ season

2 -- number of times FSU beat UF during its TWO National Championship seasons

1 -- number of times (out of TWO) that UF beat FSU during its ONE N.Champ season

Thus endeth the lesson!

Once again..lets get facts right...We beat you in Jan97 for the NC52-20LOL..and then in the very next meeting THAT year..we beat you 32-29..both in the same year that we won our NC and both times you were ranked #1!!

Thus endeth the lesson!

Doc...I can twist numbers like you are all day...the fact is 27-17-2 gives us the overall lead..we can take any year segments you want to and break it down...but in the end it's 27-27-2..No hard feelings I hope!!

... which was A DIFFERENT SEASON... I clearly wrote SEASON... YOU EVEN COPIED AND PASTED THE LINE IN WHICH I WROTE SEASON... for Pete's sake, LEARN TO READ

"In the end" it's two National Championships with one shot per opponent for FSU, versus one National Championship with one shot per opponent except the archrival to whom you lost, for whom the BCS and (I am sure this is pure coincidence) SEC head gave you two shots to get the W, for UF. Like you said, though, no hard feelings.

NCGB wrote: "Noley..all I did was make a statement.."
And all I did was respond.

NCGB continues: "some people don't like criticism..."
Some people don't like challenges (which I suppose would explain why UF dropped UM for how many years?)

"You can drop by the UF board anytime, and everyones opinions are welcomed there!!"
I never said your opinions weren't welcome. I just refuted them, that's all.

Anyway, NCGB continues, this time to me:
"Well we do only have 1 NC in 2 appearance..and yes, you do have 2 in how many??"

VERY GOOD, NCGB. TWO IS MORE THAN ONE! That Gainesville tuition wasn't wasted after all!

"Yes numerous"
By numerous, I suppose you mean more than the Gators.

"(The Atlanta Braves of College Football)"
False. The Braves have only one championship. Like, well, the Gators....

"...So drop in at the UF board anytime"
Why would I want to?
