True-but M-5 was attempting to take over and make its own decsions. M-5 could not discern friend from foe.

I love Khan. Ricardo Montalban is one of my fav actors of all time. Saw him this past Saturday as the guest start villian on "High Chapparel."

I'm indeed a Trekkie, I'm not ashamed to admit I've been to a Star Trek Convention. IMO nothing beats TNG.

what happened to earth in the season final?

I'm pretty an original episodes fan and enjoyed TNG. Voyager was okay but I haven't seen Enterprise at all.
