I say that the Tigers and Tarheels have the most unique colors in our conference. Orange gets my first vote of course, but Baby blue is close behind.

Yawhooos...I liked Virginia's helmets better without the stripes in the center of the helmet. I also liked the "old school" white helmets and orange jerseys for that fact but I'm kinda partial to orange. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Pants, some. I'd like to see them with Purple
Helmets...Orange Jersies...Purple Pants...I think
that would be a good looking uniform.

Carolina Blue is a Gppd Looking Uniform...More so,
when they would wear Blue Pants with it. I think
Maryland with four school colors, could really
jazz up their uniforms, but it seems they have
gone back to being somewhat drab...Does anybody
remember how Maryland used to dress 30 years ago.

White helmets with two black stripes and a yellow
stripe in between...pants matched the helmets...
The Jersies though were Red with white numbers and white "Northwestern" piping on the sleeves.
Odd, but it had all the colors...

The best looking uniform I've ever seen, as far
as different and colorful...North Texas State...
23 years ago. Lime Green Helmets and Lime Green
Jersies..."wild". Portland Thunder of the USFL
wore Royal Blue Helmets...Lime Green Jersies and
Royal Blue Pants...That looked good...

But of course the best looking ACC Uniforms...

Florida State!

I think the two best looking helmets in the land are without a doubt FSU and Clemson. I did recently see some Nike Clemson purple jerseys in a Champs Store in the mall. Tommy hasn't used them in a game yet but I do know we have them. I think it kinda sucks that the Redskins are ripping off the design from FSU's helmet.

My opinion (as unbiased as it can be):

1. Florida State -- Classic colors and logo

1. North Carolina -- I'm biased, but I love the color and the shift back to less prominent navy trim last year (now if we can only lose the shadowed numbers)

3. Georgia Tech -- Love the helmet, but I liked the older uniforms better (the newer ones are more cartoonlike with the lettering)

4. Clemson -- Love this helmet too, but I don't like the stripes down the side of the pants

5. State -- The block S on the helmet is way too small, but the red socks look great when they wear them

6. UVa -- They look like the Bears' uniforms now, which is fine... but those stripes on the helmet have gotta go

7. Maryland -- Not sure about the new ones, but the ones they wore last year would be a few more notches higher on my list

8. dook -- They need to take off the cursive "Duke" lettering in black and add the "D" logo with the devil in the middle. Also, a white facemask would look better. The rest of the uniform is a little basic (pants could use some stripes or something).

9. Wake Forest -- The home uniforms (black shirt and gold pants) actually look really sharp. The road uniforms (all white) need some work. They look like a high school teams jerseys. I think they would look better wearing gold pants on the road.

And, what really gets on my nerves is the helmet. First of all, the "WF" logo needs some kind of trim. And, the facemask needs to be a different color than the rest. For example, if the helmet stayed black, a gold or white facemask would be better and the "WF" logo could either be in white with gold trim or in gold with white trim. The helmet could also be changed to gold, facemask changed to black, and "WF" logo changed to black with white trim or white with black trim. Something could be better than it is now....

Here's a photo to explain what I'm talking about:

62/63 I think...

What is great about it...Their colors...their new
uniforms...Maroon Jersies with just numbers on
the sleeves...Gold pants...and while the helmets
will be maroon...the spear on the side of it.

On draft day...ESPN displayed the 'Skins new
Uniforms...it was a split screen...'Skins on
one side of the screen...'Noles on the other...

And guess who the coach is...lol

Always knew he was a Seminole "wannabe!"

Why Not? As a Coach...He NEVER won at Doak
Campbell..."Swamp my A*s!" He knew where the
toughest place in the country was to play at.
