All of you remember that Georgia is coming in the 2002 season from a loss to Temple in their last bowl game.

Here's a little info on NICK EASON. He's gonna be monster this year (after injury plagued in 2001).
Eason has returned heavier, stronger, happier and eager to wreck offenses. "I'm going to cause a lot of problems this year," he said.

"It's going to be real big having Eason healthy," Clemson junior linebacker John Leake said. "With him and Donnell (Washington) in the middle, we're going to have a great defensive line.

"After last year, I could have left, thinking my Achilles' is never going to get better or my ankle is never going to get better," he said. "I got my good attitude back now and I just want it to be contagious. Some guys may go out on the field and don't want to practice. I'm happy to practice. "It's my last go around. It's do-or-die for me. There aren't any more years after this."

I'm actually a little concerned about Clemson. You guys have been talking about this and focused on it since before spring training. I expect tigers may play their best game of the year against us. Both teams could pass 40 times. If we have a weakness, it is a new secondary. I don't think it will be a cakewalk.

BTW, this Georgia team will be ready too. Let's get it on!

Eason is huge compared to your # 45. I read today that Nick Eason said he's already going to find a rival in practice for two-a-days and he feels sorry for the guy. I'm telling you this guy is a monster. Aug 31st is getting really close!!!

We'll see what everyone is made of when game time comes around. The only reason that you guys are preseason ranked as high as you are is because your school name is Georgia. Just like the last two years you guys were supposed to dominate the SEC east. The real picture is that we play you Aug. 31st in Athens and we both had almost identical records last year. Also if the Gamecocks can do it - we definately can. You're school is just hype and we should prove that to you very soon. I wish you the best of luck this season.

TF, there are a bunch of games on 8/31, but the best game that day will be Georgia/Clemson. You guys match up against us pretty good, a mobile passing QB and 3 very good receivers. Our secondary is young. I think we will win, but it won't be decided until the 4th quarter. Good luck to the Tigers, hope none of us lose anybody this early in the season.
