...that the Democratic base always wants their politicians to give them something from someone else; in contrast, the Republican base always wants their politicians to allow them to keep more of what is theirs?

Man, that was deep, dude! Were you reading off the script completely or did you ad lib a bit? No, really, regurgitate some more Rush-like ideologue rants! They sound so much like reasoned argument that why I just can't even tell the difference.

Correct me if I'm wrong: the fat cat corporations donate to the a) Republican party or b) the Democrats? And they do that because they uh want it back, right? RIGHT! Hey, light a blunt for me, homey! You have GOT to be high.

1. The corporations donate to BOTH parties.

2. Corporations do not, nor have they ever, paid taxes.

3. Individuals are the only ones that pay taxes.

4. Corporations don't pay taxes because they pass them off to the consumer.

5. Tax cuts stimulated growth. This was proven by JFK, Reagan, and soon to come, GW Bush.

6. Welfare recipients vote for Democrats.

7. Self-made people wanting to keep as much of their own money as possible vote Republican.

....if you can't comprehend that, I'll do it with crayons, scan it, and insert the pic as a .bmp file.

There you go. If you want the government to take money away from someone who earned it, and give it to you, is NOT greedy. But

5. Tax cuts stimulated growth. This was proven by JFK, Reagan, and soon to come, GW Bush.

Yeah, tax cuts worked great in the 80's and early 90's. Too bad freakin Clinton had to come in and raise taxes and spurn growth by building highways, local infrastructure, funding Medicare, keeping the states out of huge debts by not undercutting their support, man that guy sucked.

Good thing we have Dubya to cut taxes again and once again usher in a wonderful era of prosperity, just like the late 80's, and early 90's

Are you ignorant enough to think that the benefits of tax cuts are retroactive? They would and, with our economic model, SHOULD happen gradually. ...and are you saying, with all your knowledge, that Harvard is wrong in saying that Clinton hindered growth by 60% due to his high tax increases? Are you ignorant enough to think that, Nooooo, it wasn't the Tech Boom that spurred growth, but Superman, better known as Bill Clinton's fault?

Gee, one guy can do all that. What the F___ do we have all those idiots in congress for? Hmm.....

The I.T. boom pretty much shut down under Clinton. Are you going to blame him for that? Ohhhh Noooooo.

Are you ingorant enough to think that cutting taxes right now is the thing to do? Do you really think that cutting taxes for the richest people in America is going to solve the problems of unemployment, recession, and deflation?

Rich people get to be rich by keeping their money. Trickle down economics doesnt work. You give the rich more money, and they will keep it. They will only expand their company when they know they can make a profit by doing it. You can never cut enough taxes from the rich in order for their company to start making money, as their company never sees any governement subsidy for expansion, because the federal government is too busy bailing out states that cant do as the federal government does, and deficit spend.

The Tech Boom was a boom. Booms first blow up, then they die down. If you want to blame Clinton for people investing millions into internet corporations that never turned a profit, go right ahead. Youve based arguments off of dumber points than that just because you refuse to listen.

Allen Greenspan seems to think it's a good idea right now.Fact is he warned that if a tax cut was not passed along with his last rate reduction by the reserve it would hurt the economy.

I guess old allen Greenspan must be one of those ignorant SOB's who can't admit that tax cuts are bad.

Money = power.

Liberal dems are not as dumb as they act. They know that money is power and will stop at nothing to obtain this power. How will they do it?By income taxes. This is why the Founding Fathers made it unconstitusional to take money this way.

WHAT HAPPENED?!?!

I'll tell you what happened we got duked into thinking it was a good idea for government to oversee our income and tell us what they think we should be allowed to keep for ourself. This is why we find ourselves today argueing over liberals over a ******ing tax cut.

What happened? Politicians found out that they could take money from someone that wouldn't vote for them and give it to someone that would.
