No, from a stat standpoint, the Big 10 was better last year. 3 years prior all belonged to the SEC from a STAT standpoint.

Exactly...

In your mind:

SEC > MAC....worst SEC(Vandy) > One of Best MAC(Toledo)

What I'm saying because of this:

Big Ten > SEC...worst Big Ten(N'Western) > One of Best SEC(UGa)

You see...both statements look ridiculous and are not true.

The Big 10 is a major conference. The MAC is....well, the Mac. I am not comparing anyone to anything. I am simply saying that Vandy beats Akron...rather easily.

no no you're talking about Vandy beating Toledo...which they cannot do.

I would think the Vandy/Akron game would be rather interesting.

Southlink,

I can think of 6 MAC teams that could lay the wood on Vandy.

- NIU
- Toledo
- Marshall
- Akron
- UCF
- Miami (OH)

I feel as though the top 4 on that list could deal out an especially big whoopin'.

He's letting that SEC light blind him.

Just because it's SEC doesn't mean they would roll over Toledo. I bet you had this same discussion with Middle Tenn State fans before their team went out and handed Vandy their collective arses!!

Open your eyes SouthLink02.

The Big 10 is a major conference:

1997
Toledo 36
Purdue 22
Purdue went 9-3 winning the Alamo Bowl that year!

2000
Toledo 24
Penn State 6

2001
Toledo 38
Minnesota 7

2002
Minnesota 31
Toledo 21

I gave you that 2002 one. Not bad though!

WOW. You beat a 5 win PSU team and a 4 win Min team. Those are some impressive wins.

You forgot the 8 win Purdue team. Just because we played Penn State the year they won 5 games is not our fault. Plus, you are the one that said we could not beat the worst SEC team. Then you said that the Big Ten was a MAJOR conference and the MAC was not. Well, then beating Penn State which won 4 Big Ten games shows that we are better than some of the teams in the Big Ten.

It is funny how you make an argument......someone else counters with valid statistics or information.....then you leave that argument and come up with something else because you know you can't argue with that same information again.

Rocket, I am so happy that you beat a 5 win PSU team. But let me give you some facts.

The Big 10 is a MAJOR CONFERENCE.
The MAC isn't.

Ok? Got that? Those are "facts". Wonder why the MAC doesn't have a BCS bid?

Now...back to today. Next year, Vandy would beat Toledo. Not from 2 years ago, not last year, not 330 years ago. Next year...christ

You don't even know what kind of a team Toledo will have so how can you say all of a sudden next year will be different?

And, yes the Big Ten is a major conference and the MAC is not. But that does not mean that a team from the MAC is not better than some of the teams in the Big Ten, or the SEC!

If Penn State would of won they would be a 6 win team, so whats your point southlink? Do you think Jawgia could go into happy valley and walk all over Penn State the way the Rockets did? That was an impressive win.

So are you saying that Vanderbilt will not be the worst team in the SEC next year? If so, who do you think will be? Do you think Vandy will go .500 or better? You know it hasn't happened since 1982 and the last time before that was 1975.
