Not only are you one of the classiest posters around, your new sig line rules! I had forgotten how damn funny that quote was until I saw your sig line the other day. That reminds me of a political cartoon that came out after Algore said that. It had Algore sitting at his desk as someone walked into his office and said "So, how was 'Saving Private Ryan'"? Algore replied, "He didn't even thank me for it!" What a complete drooling retard he is. I send Liquid Karma's warmest regards, too.

Al Gore who claims to have invented the internet, as opposed to George Bush who likely can't turn his computer on without Daddy there to press the buttons.

By the time El Pretzeldente is done in DC Dan Quayle will be able to relax since he won't be the butt of every joke detailing a verbal **** by the VP or president.

Now wait just a minute. I thought I was the one that would always turn an anti-Bush post into a Clinton bashing forum. But, now that your man Algore is the one getting it, you bring up Bush. Well pot, I would like to introduce you to Mr. Kettle.

Considering that Gore and W are political contemporaries and inextricably linked in history I see nothing wrong with bringing up either of them when discussing the other.

Your tactic of always bringing up Clinton anytime a republican is pointed out for doing something stupid is known as a smokescreen.

Okay, let me make sure I get the rules straight.

1. It is okay to compare two guys who ran against each other in an election and are "linked inextricably".

2. It is not okay to compare the most recent past President with the current President. That's known as smokescreening.

3. It is okay to call bullsh*t on the pretzel story. He obviously would have blown a .25 on a breathalyzer that night.

4. It is not okay to call bullsh*t on stories from Clinton, Algore, Gary Condit, or any other fine upstanding Democrat who always tells the truth.

2. I have no problem if you compare Clinton to Bush. I have a problem when every political discussion devolves into "Well, Clinton isn't in the white house anymore. Thank God/Allah." it's not you in particular. BuddyLee is guilty of this. Tell me something - are you and your right leaning friends still referring to this economic downturn as the Clinton recession?

3. You know damn well the pretzel story is bull****. Just like I know damn well Clinton didn't stop at only getting a hummer from that fat intern. He f*cked her and we all know it.

4. I don't know where this came from. I never said it wasn't ok. I get sick of the constant "well, one of your boys did something dumber" used by both sides.

No, I do not blame the economic downturn on Clinton. On the other hand, I don't give him credit when the economy was good while he was in office. I think that's fair. Also, I actually do not think Clinton f*cked Lewinsky. I know he could have if he had wanted to, but the hummers were sufficient.

Regarding the infamous pretzel, you may be right. But, you have no more proof of that than I do about Gary Condit being involved in Chandra Levy's disappearance. I believe Condit was involved, yet you pointed out to me in bold lightning strokes that it was all speculation coming from my brainwashed conservative mind.

Come on guys, this is a sports board. Lets talk sports. We can bash any candidate or politician that we won't to and it won't get us anywhere. I am glad Bush is in the White House now. I don't know how Gore would have handled 9/11. Bush did very well. I think a lot of people who voted for Gore in the 2000 election would have come back to say after 9/11 that the right man was elected. I just don't like to hear bashing. That goes on too much during campaigns. To the Bush supporters, he's in the White House calling the shots and Gore or Clinton isn't. To the anti-Bushers, he'll be out of the White House in 2008 so it won't be long until you'll have a man in again.
