SD, my buddies out in LA are trying to get me to come surfing out there with them. I agreed to, during one of Ole Miss' bye weeks, but I never really considered LA a surfing spot. Is it?

LA and Orange county have some good surfing, check out Newport Beach or Hunington Beach, during the winter months the surf is way up, also head down to San Clemente to Tressels or even down to Diego.

Well, it's not up to me where we go or to what beach, I'll just be along for the ride and to have some fun. But these guys surf all the time, so I'm sure they know those places you listed. I just didn't really associate surfing with LA, but I guess they do have some good spots. Thanks, SD!
