Taken from another board....thanks to cpugh42

I had the good fortune of watching the game tonight, not easy considering it was broadcast in high definition (had to find a bar and had to drink copious amounts of beer so forgive any transgressions)

In a game played at a dizzying pace, Felton was the most dizzying. Felton matched up with Dockery(Duke recruit) in the first half and it was less than stellar. Felton would dribble up the court trying to set up an offense, but when he passed the ball 85% of the time that guy would shoot it! These were passes to set up an offense not passes to get a shot. This game was TERRIBLE! Dockery would dribble up the court and challenge Felton one on one (the way everyone else played this horrible game) and would be denied almost everytime. Dockery is very quick and very fast, but he could not get by Felton. Dockery is certainly a VERY GOOD basketball player and if he does matriculate to dook, DUHON has a lot to worry about. Then came the second half.....

Felton did not start the second half and my friend and I assumed either the coach was saving him for winning time(not a likely scenerio in this type of all star game, but one that seem to bear itself out over the course of the 2nd half) or that he wanted to give the other PG (Daniel Horton or Ingram I forget which) the opportunity to play with the more talented first team front line. Dockery exploded against these guys. He looked awesome at times. Felton's squad had a big lead throughout the first half until this point. Then Felton came into the game against Anthony Roderson, who is widely considered the 2nd best PG in the land behind Felton and it was over. Felton began to assert himself. The best image of the night was Felton bringing the ball across the half court line and Roberson waiting about the 3pt line licking his palm and cleaning his shoes, as if he knew what was coming and he had better be ready. Roberson, like Dockery, gave Felton at least 8 feet. Now here is the problem with watching the game in the bar, I cannot remember if it was this play that Felton blew by him or another, but Roberson certainly respected "The Truth's" quickness. There was no one in this game or no one in college basketball that will be able to keep Felton in front of them! You can take that to the bank like Microsoft Stock!(in the good 'ole days) In any event, Roberson gave Felton enough room the entire second half to can a big 3, but not enough room to prevent Felton from going by him all night. The kid(Felton) is special.

And oh, by the way, Felton had 21 pts. to lead all scorers and at least 11 of those came in the last 5 minutes of the game enroute to the MVP!
