It's called force protection. If I was on point or guard duty, I would DEFINATELY shoot anyone deemed hostile, man, woman, OR child. Ask a Vietnam Vet sometime about how harmless children are. It's already believed that anyone that becomes a homicide bomber will go straight to Allah. Mothers send their children off daily to become homicide bombers, as seen in countless interviews with women holding pictures of their children and praising them. You're damn right I would volunteer.


While you're criticizing MY idea, care to come up with an alternative? I VERY seriously doubt you can because anything "humane" hasn't worked. The only side I see bending over backwards has been Israel.

I have no solution for that mess, which is why I offered none. I do however believe that in regards to this situation that the killing from both sides needs to stop, everytime someone kills somebody else, one side has to get its revenge then the other side has to get their revenge and so on and so on. The behavior over there has become almost child-like, it has become tit for tat, which isn't gonna solve the problem.

I just don't think it is ever justifiable to kill women and children, no matter how hostile they may appear.

Ihave had the pleasure of training women as an NCO when I was in the military. I can tell you, if I'm on the other end of their weapon and being fired upon, I am firing back. They are JUST as dangerous. That chivalrous BS will get people killed, no matter HOW you look at it. Don't get me wrong, I am NOT the type to hurt women or children, but when they are engaging me with hostility, I will use whatever means necessary to extinguish the threat. That's life. There has already been a female homicide bomber.

Also, tit for tat? As I said in another thread, Israel was bending over backwards, dismantling settlements, arresting it's OWN citizens that refused to leave, handing cities back, etc., and they got bombed for it. 13 children were either hurt or killed TJ. Aren't they innocent? Or is it just the Palestinians that are innocent?

Another question, do you think Hamas would have stopped if Israel DIDN'T retaliate? If so, history is your enemy.

Israel tried. It didn't work. Next course of action. Expulsion of all Palestinians from Israel and all occupied land given back to the Palestinians. They want to work? They want hospitals? They want education? Well, they better get started. Those services previously offered by the "Free" people in the area, the Israelis, are no longer to their avail.

It has nothing to do with masculinity OR Christianity. It HAS to do with the preservation and safety of a race. All this complaining Nate, do YOU have an alternative? I actually thought that peace COULD be achieved....it WAS heading that way......but Hamas ruined it. What the hell is Israel SUPPOSED to do? If they close ALL borders, give ALL land back, expel ALL Palestinians from Israel, build a wall, and PROTECT THE BORDER, then there MAY be a chance for Israel. Other than that Nate, I don't predict a snowball's chance in hell that Israel will be safe. That's how I see it. If you, Nate, have a better way, then by all means, put it in writing.

The Palestinians have to reign in their extremists now! I'm sick and tired of them ruining the Road Map (which only Israel is following) which was working up till the recent attacks. And Kev is right, Nate. Not once have you show any signs of remorse for the attacks by the Palestinian bombers, yet you are appalled by the "Israeli Occupation".

3) Islamic Jihad claims responsibility for the terrorist attack(s)... a Hamas leader was killed after that. I hate what Hamas does, but I hate what Israel does even more.

This region is a war zone, plain and simple. It has gotten to the point that their attacks are childish. Whenever two kids in my family act out of line, they're kept away from each other a while until they can cool out. So I say this: Banish all parties from israel for 100 years, and go from there.
