Kansas City has traded two minor leaguers to Cleveland for pitcher Brian Anderson.

Anderson is just 9-10, but has a very respectable 3.71 ERA, including an impressive 2.87 ERA in his last 15 starts. He's 8-4 in those starts.

If Anderson can keep up the good work, he'll be a very good pickup for the Royals.

I gotta give it to the Royals G.M Allard Baird, he's doing a heck of a job trying to keep the Royals on top in the AL Central.

He's doing a great job of dumpster digging. It's not easy to upgrade your team when managment are a bunch of cheap bast****.

Could you elaborate please? Why exactly are they cheap bast****? You gotta have more evidence than just calling someone names like that. Someone once told me recently that only morons do that.

again you're correct. managment for the Royals have been extremely cheap with the team. They;re in a good market and they get revenue sharing, yet whenever they have a good player they refuse to sign him. The GM and Tony pena have each done a great job.

Are you kidding? Of course i answered your question. Management never spends any money on the team, that's why they never have any key free agent signings.

No sir. You were the first one to throw out the moron verbage, not me. Yes, I called Bonds a jerk, as does most of the world, but no names directed at you. I was just proving a point to you and now I am thru with you and this conversation. Again, have a nice day.

Let's get this topic back on track. I agree with you swoosh, Baird has done a fine job getting players having good years that no one was paying attention to.
