gdawgs88, just because you like the braves doesnt mean you have to support them towin every award. You think ortiz should win it, now that your convinced hes not that good you go with smoltz. If you liked the mets, you would be telling us ty wiggington should win MVP

Smoltz deserves to win it. If I supported the Braves on every award I would tell you Sheffield should be MVP.
You people take personal awards way too seriously. To be honest, I'm more concerned with how the Braves play in October than how the Cy Young and MVP awards shake out.

i have no problem with you picking smoltz. I don't think relievers should win it, but you picked a guy who has been awesome. I don't think tysramm was being fair.

it's weird how yesterday i said ortiz hadn't thrown a complete game. Tonight he pitched amazing.

yea russ ortiz pitched great, my main point behind what I said before wasn't that smoltz isnt good, its just that as soon as gdawgs88 is convinced the ortiz isnt the the best pitcher, he just jumps to the next best braves pitcher, without considering anyone not on the braves
