Roddick got his first major victory today winning the U.S. Open. The kid has a lot of talent maybe he will put it all together and post-Agassi/Samprass era wont be all that bad for the Americans.

I found myself flipping channels during a commercial of the Saints game today, and watched a few minutes of Roddick. I don't normally watch a putrid second of tennis, but I happened to land on that match right when he had just served up another ace to Ferrero at the speed of 141mph. My God! He was impressive, and I hate tennis. Ferrero could do nothing but just stand there as serve after serve whizzed by him everytime.

He's been clocked as high as 149 and he can probably bring it even harder than that. He's only 21 so this should be the first of many for Roddick. Seems to me that Male Tennis players usually peak a little later than the girls.
