Nate did a search on me the other day and I decided to search my real name. Dug this one out of Yahoo.

<a href='http://www.augustachronicle.com/stories/042900/opi_046-1974.shtml' target='_blank'>Augusta Chronicle Letter</a>

What's bad is that I don't even remember writing it.

It came off as ambiguous. I am not against kids praying at school. I am against teacher-led prayer at schools....something many people in the South advocate.

Again, I am not against prayer in school. I am against mandated prayer in school. I will be on the other side of you when you start advocating the confiscation of bibles and disciplinary action for students praying amongst themselves in the school.

I would never advocate that, Kev!

I could give a crap about kids praying, whether they are at school or at a bar! In fact, if I had children I'd raise them Christian so that they would not be ostracized by their peers. As soon as they're old enough to handle the truth, I'd tell them like it is--that religion is a false reality, like Santa Claus.

He doesn't have to worry about that T. They'll get indoctrinated by some liberal, left-wing Sociology professor when they get to college.

First of all T-Monay and Kev, I will never have children, for the following reasons:
1.) It's cruel to bring children into this world, knowing they'll suffer and their parents will suffer through perpetual worry. Then the kid grows up to hate their parents, even if only temporarily.
2.) I sure as hell don't want to feign Christianity just so my kid doesn't get beat up at school by Christians!
3.) Children are cruel, cruel to one-another and all-around devils! They are also little germ-machines, infecting everyone and everything they touch.
4.) I can't afford them. Schooling alone would cost over $750,000.
5.) I sure as hell don't want to get married or live with a woman because I get b*tched at enough as it is. I can't handle much more b*tching directed at me (I'm specifically referring to soccer parents here. They SUCK! What is up with that friggen commie sport and their fanatical parents? They are always whining 'why don't you take a picture of my kid. he sits on the bench but he practices every day--waah!).

Now I know this paints me as a crass and angry little man, and that is exaclty who and what I'm all about!

Now Kev, you wrote: "They'll get indoctrinated by some liberal, left-wing Sociology professor when they get to college."

This statement is evidence that you never went to college! Many of my professors in the School of Liberal Arts at Ole Miss ("Liberal" is used differently here; it does not refer to political orientation) were avowedly politically conservative. In fact, I'd say politically conservative professors at UM outnumber the liberal professors by 3:1. That was my experience anyway (quite recently too).

Since my professors admitted being politically conservative, they didn't have many nice things to say about George W. Bush, because afterall, he is NOT a conservative!
