First of all, no shame in losing to the best team in basketball by only eight last night.
Second of all, I have been careful, very careful, to never come out and say that the Rockets are better than the Grizzlies. It is a very close matchup that I think both teams can win. So read the posts before you make your comments.
We are getting to the point where we are just repeating ourselves. The Grizz are a solid team, but talk to me when they win a playoff series.

Talk to me when the Rockets MAKE the playoffs!
Quote:Of the top five teams in the West, I would like to play the Grizz, we have the best shot at beating them. (Although our track record against the Lakers is pretty good.)
You may not be saying it directly but that statement sure does imply it.
P.S. Did you notice Posey scored 31 in the Grizzlies victory last night?
P.S.S. I am still interested in some type wager if we should happen to meet in the playoffs. Good luck the rest of the way.

Here you go.

Again, I realize that Memphis is a great team, but they can't win a playoff series THIS year IMO. Talk to me when they do.

Update:
The Grizz are easily swept by the Spurs.
The Rockets are down 3-1, but are two possessions away from being up 3-1. Stevie has stepped up his game considerably and is playing with a lot of intensity.
But the point: Rockets are still in, Grizz are not.

You're correct, the Grizz were swept, rather convincingly, by the defending world champion Spurs. Meanwhile, I see you are one game away from elimination (against a team that is really struggling) against the Lakers. Want to bet the Spurs take the Lakers in 5? I did notice also that if ya'll hadn't choked twice you would have the series lead, but as Charles Barkley said if my Aunt had balls, she'd be my Uncle. Regardless of all of that, the fact remains the Grizzlies are a better team than the rockettes and you know it.
P.S. on the original topic, one down, one to go!
Hubie= COY
Posey= 3rd place MIP
West= Executive of the year?

Before the playoffs I would have said the Grizz may have been slightly better, but every weakness they have was apparent in the series against the Spurs, and it is now clear the Rockets are the better team. The Grizz have no go-to-guy, and nobody to pull them out of the hole, and that was painfully clear in the playoffs for Grizzlies fans. Meanwhile, Stevie stepped up his game big time and showed more passion than the entire Grizzlies team combined. The Rockets were able to make the games close, the Grizzlies did not step up to the challenge.
P.S. I am two for two, and also think West deserves EOY award.
