I don't see what the hub-bub is all about. I don't see why you neo-cons are even taking the time to pay attention to the Dems' race. Don't you know that Bush will be reelected whether the Dems run Kerry, Dean, Sharpton, Jesus or Kid Rock!?

We are in the midst of the great neo-con revolution in this country and neo-cons like Bush are in power to stay!

The GOP has done a very effective job of demonizing non-neo-cons. Those not aligned with the neo-cons' ideology (and this includes Republicans John McCain and Chuck Hagel, among others) are commie pinko bast*rds who deserve to be shot like dogs in the street. These bastages, Dems and non-neo-con Republicans are devils, plain and simple. The American electorate is buying this hook-line-and-sinker.

With all this in mind, Kerry's problems are moot. He will not be our next president because violent-minded, semi-literate Americans love having a religious fanatic in President Bush. Americans by and large love the fact that George W. kicks butt first and asks questions later. We love it when one of our commanders-in-chief bomb other folks and we'll reward the Prez. by re-electing his sorry arse.

Into Bush's second term, as bombs are falling in Syria, the neo-con controlled Congress will eliminate term limits for the chief executive and Bush will win a third term down the road. In that term, the Dems will be completely disorganized and their party will fall by the wayside. And in Bush's term after that, elections will not be necessary as he'll run unopposed. When and if Bush dies, then enter Sean Hannity into the fray. In Bush's second term he'll serve as his press secretary. In Bush's third term, Hannity will be sec. of state and eventually sec. of defense. After taking over Russia around 2015, Hannity will be groomed for emperor of the United States Inc.

There are some interesting changes coming in our nation and our system of government. What will be more interesting are some of the new practices that will transform American society. Bush's birthday will be a national holiday and his likeness will appear on our money (by 2015, his likeness will appear on the national credit cards that serve as the "new currency"). Americans growing up through these years will see Bush as a God, well not "a" god, but the God. Yes, we are all about to step into line to worship GW!

Ain't American great! :D

I do write as my chief occupation. After taxes and my insurance payments (along with student loans), I don't make a living doing it, though.

If I had it to do all over again, I would have taken more pragmatic college classes, i.e. computer crap. That way, I'd be a programmer, off to India where most of our tech-sector is going.

My buddies that work on Capitol Hill have been talking about this for a couple of weeks. They say all the other candidates know about it, which is why Dean won't drop out. Why did Clark drop out when he's the one that let it slip about Kerry "imploding" over an intern scandal to reporters? The DC rumor mill says Edwards has promised Clark the VP slot.

Damn you Dean. Why'd you have to self-destruct? That would have been TOO easy. Kerry almost as easy. An Edwards/Clark ticket? Dayum. That is the Bush team's worst nightmare. A charming southerner and a four-star genny to shore up the foreign policy credentials.

Hold on folks, this might turn out to be a fun ride after all...

Edwards won't beat W in North Carolina! 05-nono I just don't think he can get the votes across the country.

Oh well, if people are dumb enough to vote for the inventor of the internet (yeah right), who knows?

....again, who in their right mind thinks that Hillary will "allow" anyone to beat GW in the election? Look for more of these issues to come out as we get closer towards the election.

When in doubt, neo-cons mention the Clintons!

What is it with that obsession? They aren't my favorite people either, but Kev, what the hell do you care what Hillary does or does not do? You don't live in New York! You don't have to work with her. You don't have to talk to her.

Hillary, Oprah, Mother Teresa back from the dead, this country is 500 years from ever allowing a woman to be supreme commander of our military!

Is it just me, or is Kev's obsession with the Clinton family totally irrational?

Since when is Hillary running for president?

She hasn't said she'll run for president either in 2004 or 08, so what gives?

T-Monay, I didn't know that you were so close to Hillary. I didn't know that she had confided to you her presidential aspirations! I mean, there's no record whatsoever of Hillary aspiring for the presidency, then I have to assume that the two of you are friends and she's told you personally that she will run for president.

A bimbo eruption with a politican? Well, I personally wonder whether the Clinnons are behind this. The only way Hillary! will have a good shot at Empress, and Billy Boy at being her Wet Willie, will be if the Demos lose this year. Kerry is looking really good, and if the Clinnons know what is good for them, they better take him down now, before he get the nomination.

We are seeing some high political drama this year in a number of ways. Alls we need now is some strange deaths.

This is all convoluted speculation, Wry. Remember when Bill Clinton hit the national political scene? He was a no-body and no one thought he had a snow ball's chance in hell of getting the nomination. Meaning--he came from obscurity to take the White House, benefitting from Perot's populism. He did get the nomination though.

2008 is a long way away. While it is possible, but unlikely, some Democrat other than Hillary will be poised to make a run. Alot can happen in four years.

I say it is unllikely that another Dem will be poised to make a run for Prez. in 2008 because the Dems will cease to be a major Party by then. They are, as a Party, failing. Most Americans are a mixture of real conservatism with a dash of Bush-style lunacy. Most Americans cannot think deeply for a moment and will never question the hard-line GOP propaganda, which will result in a downfall of the DNC and a move toward authoritarianism. Bush and his ilk, along with the GOP fundraising machine, are instigating a new form of Divine Right Absolutism. These Bush-style politicians will sieze our government for good by 2012 and all directives to the President will come directly from God, hence Congress will be a thing of the past. Judges will be a thing of the past, and lobbyists will be a thing of the past. The only other governing body the President will need come 2012 is the Almighty.

That said, Americans, vote now and vote in as many elections as possible because someday soon, that American right will be taken away!

Relax, you Bolsheviks. Crisis handled. The girl's father came out today and said that he had talked with her and doesn't believe these rumors. While it may be that he called Kerry a cad and a rounder Friday, he's going to vote for him now.

I have nothing to base this on, but somehow I believe the girl's family will never lack from this date on for ketchup and pickles.

I insist on seeing paystubs and and at least 400 pages of other documentation to verify that this rumor is not true.

Fair's fair.
