Which team will Florida State most likely be upset by?

At least one ACC team will give Florida State a taste of it's own medicine again this year. I know that FSU is back, looking for revenge, and are also picked to win the conference again. There's gotta be a sleeper team on the rise somewhere. I would say that either Ga Tech, Clemson, N.C. State, Virginia, or Maryland have legitimate shots at taking them by surprise.

Dont laugh at this, but dont count at Wake Forest.

Here is why:

1. They dont think we have a prayer
2. They dont hold a grudge against us from last year
3. Our coach is pissed they ran up the score last year, and really wants to beat us
4. It's in Groves, and if we have a winning record and beat UNC the week before, we will have confidence

Ok, who voted for DUKE?!?

Being biased, I want to say Tech. A realistic answer in NC State. They've split the last 4 meetings and know they have the ability to beat FSU.

I honestly think anything is possible, there will be upsets this year in the ACC, no matter what.

NC State has Chuck Amato who ya'll should know coached at FSU for umpteen years. If that man doesn't know how we run things at FSU, than nobody does. I thought for sure that Tommy would be able to beat Dad by now, but it hasn't happened. NC shocked me last year. But ya'll could be right... the rest of the conference needs to step things up to Florida State's level and keep on building your programs. And it looks like that is exactly what ya'll are doing.

I know everyone is excited about football, including me, but wanted to say how GREAT our conference was in college baseball this year. Let's did it again in '03!!!

And last but not least, will the Noles ever be able to compete in basketball??? I don't know, cause the rest of ya in this conference are damn good!!!

It's 2 for Duke now, there's no point in showing up for the game if you don't believe you have a chance.

Duke will be there just like the Tigers will. Duke will give 100% just like Clemson will. Good luck, Clemson will need it just like Duke will. Clemson's outcome will probably be just like Duke's will.

just all run together.

Actually, what he is whining about, is that Florida State ran all over them for three
quarters, then they rallied in the fourth, after
they had bored the 'Noles to sleep, and then blew
a chance to be in position to win the game.
We won it...26-21!

Funny as it may sound...Duke and Wake Forest
are in the best "position" to beat Florida State.
(If they had enough talent) Duke comes after
Maryland and 5 days before a road game at
Louisville. We will spend a great deal of
practice during the Duke week, working on Louisville material.

Wake comes after Clemson, Miami and Notre Dame
and before games with Ga Tech, No Car and NC ST.

But that is why they are in those positions on
the schedule.

Wake is very confident, hyper and with big
expectations. Wake will also be lucky to win
three conference games and Florida State won't
be one of them. Yes the game is a Groves Stadium
and just like every other year it's been there...
There will be as many Florida State fans as Deacon
Fans...Depth and Speed...

And running up the score??????

It was 42-7 at halftime. We are not allowed to
play our starters at all?????????

If Maryland takes out Notre Dame, they have a
chance...it is early in the season and we are at
their place. After that...If we lose, it won't
be to an ACC team.

But...The time for talk...at last... is over!

Now it's time to walk the walk.................

See you 9/14 at BYRD...it will be a WAR!

I think Clemson also has some advantages against FSU this year.

1. We have a bye week before playing FSU. That's an extra week to prepare for the noles.

2. FSU plays Miami the week after Clemson. Miami should be FSU's thoughest opponent and we might catch FSU looking past the tigers to the hurricanes.

3. Clemson also has ties to FSU. Our O-cord. was Bobby's O-cord for many years. And of course I'm sure Tommy has a very good idea of how his dad approaches a football game.
