On some of these threads it has been said (explicitly) that Bush had intelligence information that forewarned him of the 9-11 attacks and he ignored it.

However, he has also been heavily criticized for invading Iraq, based on intelligence which said that they had WMD's.

So, on one hand Bush should have accepted the intelligence (assuming it did exist) and on the other he should have known to ignore it.

The question: isn't that a huge double standard?

Don't forget that the Bush Administration should have been doing the things that are spelled out in the Patriot Act that the libs rail against.

Extremely well said, and one of the more accurate statements I've seen you make on this board. However, there were no WMD and we know that the memo was accurate.
