Do you ever bring anything? You probably show up at your parents' place on Mother's Day, empty-handed and expecting to be fed.

I bring enough that it leaves you sucking for oxygen (or whatever it is you suck) and repetitively asking "is that all you got?" while demonstrating your total inability to respond in kind.

Face it cueball; in substance and style, you ain't even close.

Believe me, I can more than reply in kind. I choose to keep it at a little higher level. I'll bet your Jim Rome wannabe act is considered really cute in the circles you run in, but I've seen much better...and it's still boring. :snore:

..... SLEEP WELL!
I was in the Army in the late 80s and early 90s.

Those cuts were started under the admin. f George Sr.

It seems the Congress, Sen., and American people didn't think we needed such a large military anymore.......Something to do with no longer having a Cold War

If you were older you would remember and you would not get your info from spun lies from Rush.

Ohhhh puhhhlllleezzzeee, you inadequate, sanctimonious, slug. I believe nothing you say or are capable of saying (and that is a serious limiting factor).

I repeat: you and your fellow kerry-sycophants could no more compete with me in a smackdown than you could make John Kerry appear to be real, solid, presidential and un-Lurchlike.

"I can more than reply in kind?" Whoa baby; don't hit me with that kinda strong. Sleep won't come easy tonight, knowing that a tough guy like you is up all hours just lookin to right the wrongs of the right. Bottle it honey, and sell it as a soporific, for others if not for you.

Sycophant eh? Did you learn that word watching 101 Dalmations? Too bad Cruela did not define it for you.

Sycophant: n A person who attempts to win favor or advance himself by flattering a person of influence.

Please explain how Kerry's supporters here are trying to win favor here.

Ouch, where do I start... Luckily, unlike Presidents and President hopefuls, I'm not forced to divulge my records.

My Candy _ _ _, has done all that is required of me, and more.

Remember, keep your friends close...
And your enemies closer.

My point is, in case you missed it, is that people look at the ribbons and medals like it's all that matters. Some great sacrifices go unnoticed.

You are right about one thing...I don't rate the CAR.

Okay, besides the war in Afghanistan, I think I've found one other thing I disagree with Oddball on.

Jim Rome is funny as hey-ull to me. Of course, I'm from NE Mississippi, but still. That guy's a riot!

And you really do a disservice to Rome's name to compare him to Needle Dick the Bug F#cker! No comparison whatsoever!

Try this one billy boy:

Main Entry: sy·co·phant
Pronunciation: -f&nt also -"fant
Function: noun
Etymology: Latin sycophanta slanderer, swindler, from Greek sykophantEs slanderer, from sykon fig + phainein to show -- more at FANCY
: a servile self-seeking flatterer

If you want to play dictionary games, get a better one. And stop relying on animated characters, especially ones like elsie and cueball.

<a href='http://www.commondreams.org/views/092000-104.htm' target='_blank'>Military spending totals are almost 95 percent of what they were on average during the Cold War.</a>

And that's an article from 2000. . .I can only imagine what levels they're at now.

Anyway, it makes the point well. Despite common misperceptions, Bill Clinton was a buddy to the war hawks.

Thanks for the non-rejoinder. Are you just here to pad your post count?

<a href='http://www.cdi.org/weekly/1998/Issue38/#2' target='_blank'>http://www.cdi.org/weekly/1998/Issue38/#2</a>

Here's a source that's not common dreams. See if you think it's as cute.
