CONCORD, Mass. --Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry took a spill from his bicycle while riding Sunday afternoon but was not injured, a campaign official said.
Kerry was riding with Secret Service agents through Concord, about 18 miles north of Boston, when his bike hit a patch of sand and he fell, campaign officials said.
"He's fine. They took the bike into the bike shop and he went home," said campaign spokesman Michael Meehan.
Kerry was in Massachusetts -- he has a home in Boston -- enjoying a break from the campaign trail. It was not immediately clear on what road in Concord he was biking.
Kerry, 60, rides his bicycle as often as he can and sometimes brings it with him on the campaign plane.

How much do you want to bet it was a Secret Service "Son of B!tch" that knocked him down (again)?
And does he get another purple heart for it? It sounds at least as bad as the scratch that earned him the first one.

Nice troll, er, I mean try.
On the one hand you have a guy that had to beg for a PH for a miniscule piece of shrapnel that caused a scratch (still haven't seen those records Mr. I will release everything liar), then took advantage of the "3 PHs and you can go home" rule for "wounds" that didn't even require hospitalization, then came home and accused all his fellow veterans and the soldiers still in-country of being war criminals and then threw his medals, I mean somebody else's medals, I mean his, I mean ribbons, away.
On the other you have a guy that chose to serve his country in lieu of a lucrative professional sports career and in so doing paid the ultimate sacrifice.
To even suggest there is any comparison is slap goofy at best and demonstrates an appalling insensitivity to the families of Cpl. Tillman and every other soldier, sailor or marine that has given his life in service to his country.

You belittled a veteran's awarded Purple Heart. IMO, that takes a lot of guts - and I'm not complimenting you.

Yes I did. I've seen enough brass put themselves in for medals they didn't deserve to know how easy it is and the kind of jerk that does it. And Kerry definitely fits the mold of the type of officer I've seen do it. But don't take my word for it. Let's ask his former CO, Lt. Commander Grant Hibbard.
Quote:Hibbard recently questioned whether Kerry deserved the first of his three Purple Hearts that he received in Vietnam. Hibbard doubted both the severity of the wound and whether it resulted from enemy fire.
"I've had thorns from a rose that were worse" than Kerry's wound for which he received a Purple Heart, Hibbard told the Boston Globe in April.
Again, to even suggest a comparison between the fingernail scratch that Kerry received and had to beg for a Purple Heart over and the sacrifice made by Cpl. Tillman is just mind-numbingly idiotic.
Get a brain, moran.

RW, I do admire your style. I'll be interested to see whether this story turns out to have any substance:Kerry 'Unfit to be Commander-in-Chief,' Say Former Military Colleagues

Hibbard said something entirely different at the time of Kerry's service. Then again, he wasn't a republican trying to cast aspersions on a presidential candidate at the time. Hibbard wasn't on the boat when the injury in question occured. Are you alledging that Kerry ripped off the bandage when he returned from receiving medical treatment so that Hibbard could see the wound?
Kerry's war records, including a glowing review from Grant Hibbard have all been released and can be found at http://www.johnkerry.com/communities/veter...ns/service.html and in other locations around the web. When will the Commander-In-Thief you support be releasing the rest of his records? You know, the unedited and complete ones?

Btw, it's "moron", not "moran". It helps to spell the key words correctly when violating the AUP with a personal attack, particularly when that attack questions another's intelligence.
Then again, repeating something as stupid as "fingernail scratch" to describe a wound made by having a piece of shrapnel removed from your arm probably speaks more to a person's intellect than how they spell "moron."

Yeah, it would have been more manly of John Kerry to hang around Texas and snort cocaine off hookers' chests.

why does it matter if he deserved his purple heart or not? A man's war record should have nothing to do with his political campaign. Unless he tortured some innocent prisoners, or something.

RoadWarrior, I'm tempted to make the "Get a brain! Morans" part of my signature, but I won't steal your thunder.

It's the least you can do since I found the documents you so badly wanted to see, but were having so much trouble finding. Btw, are there any other photos you will be referrencing in your "jokes" that I may not have seen?
I assume you'll be reading those documents the rest of the day instead of posting more made up stuff.
