I miss effin Augusta and promise, GDawgs88, never to say ANYTHING about it again. I've been in Fairbanks, Ak for a month and a half yesterday and the days are getting longer, and longer, and longer. It's 10:50PM here and still damn daylight. Damn this town sucks.

What I miss:

2 hours to the mountains
2 hours to the beach
1 hour to Columbia to watch USC get beat
1 1/2 hour to Athens to watch UGA get beat
2 hours to Atlanta to watch GT get beat
2 hours to Savannah to drink
2 hours to Hilton Head Island to drink
2 hours to Charlotte to watch the Panthers

In contrast, what I will miss about this place:

6 hours to THE DAMN TOWN OVER 50K Population(Anchorage)
Long days in the summer
Short days in the winter
Skeeters as big as a damn sparrow
60 below in the winter
80 in the summer

......well, I don't guess I will miss this place. Damn, I'm closer to Russia. Talk about isolation.

Looks nice enough, doesn't it? This was outside my window a month ago.

Well, now look at it without the snow and from another angle:

Hence my, "Can someone PLEASE tell me a site where I can host pics at" thread. This is pissing me off man. I used to do it on Webshots....but they don't, apparently, allow it, and I GUESS neither does HP. Hell, I have spent over 7K on HP products. They need to get their damn act together. If you can right click on the pic, or what suppOSED to be the pic, and paste it in the browser, can you get anything? It may be something here on our site, I.e. size limitations.

still no pictures
i really wish i could see what you're talking about. it must be so different living in Fairbanks. I've spent a summer studying in Copenhagen, Denmark. So I understand a little bit of the sunset at midnight and sunrise at 4am kind of weirdness......

Yeap. Packed snow from the snow plows. It's a helluva lot smaller than it was.

That place looks nice compared to the heat in Augusta. I'm in Augusta six days a week.

I have no problem seeing the pictures.
