FWIW, Duke had the exact same rain and 0 turnovers. UNC had 9.

I'm not saying that rain means that everyone is going to be equally sloppy. If we have the same rain a week from now, chances are that Darian Durant may have no turnovers. But, on this freak Saturday, he was dropping the ball (many times on a shotgun snap) left and right.

I'm not blaming our loss on the rain. What I wil contend is that it gives an underdog a better chance of winning (as you saw in the UNC and dook games) and can cause for some sloppy play. It can also mean that someone having a terrible game can play even worse because of it.

the difference: UNC played sloppy and still hung with a better team than ECU or Duke...Duke didnt play sloppy and almost lost to ECU.

UNC will KILL duke(as will all other ACC teams)...be ready for it

Um, I'm sorry Techfan, but UNC will not kill Duke. It will be close, very close.

And IMO Miami of Ohio = ECU.

But, I think it was 1999 that we were 3-8 -- and still beat dook 38-0 or something like that. When dook is involved, a blowout is always possible....

Oh -- Miami is definitely better than ECU. They are better than they were last year, just as ECU is worse than they were last year.

what game where you watching??? Unless I missed something and they moved Giants Stadium to college park.....

Bad phrasing on my part, DT. I should've written "...as the HOME TEAM...." which, on the socreboard, you were.

Doesn't change anything else, though. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />
