THAT'S FUNNY...
Tell me something doc...How does that fact that Maryland Public School coaches won't schdule Private schools make a "huge" impact on the ACC? Please, enlighten us...I think you said something about not having big game exprience...well, let's take an example...Maryland freshman RB Josh Allen is a local kid out of Eleanor Roosevelt HS, just about 5 miles away from College Park. Now, during his senior year, he played some "decent" games in his regular season (PG county isn't the strongest in the area) and he played (and lost) in the 4A state finals...is that lack of big game experience...well, if you do indeed think it is, just take a look at his stats through 6 games this season (he has only played in 3 games). My point is, your threory doesn't hold any weight...if someone can play, they can play.
Just because you seem to think that the DC area is weak and doesn't produce top-notch games every weekend, like obviously every game in Ohio is, doesn't mean that they are not playing in big games. Take for example, the recent battle between Georgetown Prep (#2 in the Metro area) vs their hated rival Landon...far from a marqee match-up, but to those kids, it is the biggest game of the year. GP, who has been handing everyone their lunch this season, only defeated a weak Landon team, 28-0. That shows you the heart that HS school athletes but into every game they play. Just becasue every game isn't #1 vs #2 in the area doesn't mean **** ...
