Uhhh, significant? Remember this?
Quote:If you are looking for a guy who can do a lot with nothing (ala Steve McNair or Brett Favre) Eli certainly isnt the man.
I can't wait until you eat your words.
I still dont understand how it is significant that Favre once played for Atlanta. He played there for a total of one season and as far as I know never got a chance to start there. He didnt even have a chance to prove that he was going to be one of the greatest QBs ever. Again how is it relevant that he played in Atlanta?
So Favre started his career in Atlanta. Are you going to tell me how that is relevant to my statement?
If you were just throwing out worthless trivia, Steve Young started his career inTampa Bay.

If the Giants are smart, we won't find out this year. Warner should be the starter.
I think Eli will be a solid starting QB in the NFL for 10-12 years. He is no Steve McNair and he is certainly no Brett Favre, but he should make a few pro bowls. But I don't see him being a top QB in this league. More along the lines of a Trent Green.

I want to see Eli fail worse than Ryan Leaf. I want to see the NFL eat him alive. Nothing against the Giants, I just have no respect for Eli. I used to like him, but now I hope he is a complete flop.

....because Green is so good, huh? Lemme see, you lose to Florida 2 years in a row, we beat Florida 2 years in a row. You get beat IN Baton Rouge, but get beat FAR worse in Atlanta. Remember the score of the LSU-UM game GDawg? uh huh......... The Nat'l champs beat us by 3 and we held 'em to 17 points. What were the outcomes of your two games? I forget........

Don't turn this into a "Why Ole Miss is better than Georgia" thread. I'm just saying that I hate Eli. I never said he wasn't a great QB.
BTW, we lost the first game to LSU on a long TD pass with less than a minute to go. We should have won that game. I know it and you know it.

A loss is a loss.
Saying "we only lost by [insert number]" that is loser talk. You guys were good last year, really really good, and I was rooting for yall pretty much all year. You dont need to talk like a loser about last season.
