Kerry criticized Bush today on his initial reaction to 9/11 and then related to the press what he would have done.

Talk about petty politics, Kerry said Bush should have told the kids T/S, I’ve got more important things to do.

I think Bush immediately realized the seriousness of the situation and decided to share a last moment of innocence with the children before their teachers/parents had to tell them that the world they lived in was for ever changed!!!

Cheers to President Bush for valuing the precious moments with these children.

JEERS!!! To John (I’ll say anything to or about anyone to get elected) Kerry for trying to politicize a fragile moment in history. Just when I think Kerry can’t stoop any lower, he goes and says something like this and totally sets a new standard for sleaze.

Mr. Kerry, Where is your positive campaign?

This is all that needs to be said about Bush's reaction that day:

<a href='http://www.tallahassee.com/mld/tallahassee/news/local/8993122.htm' target='_blank'>"I would've voted for him that day"</a>

Notice that during all the mainstream media's talks about the President's reaction and Moore's portrayal of it, this teacher's(who was actually there) rebuttal was not mentioned ONCE.

Now the Kerry allegations come out, and the mainstream media's first articles on the topic begin "McCain slams Swift Boat ad"...ignoring the fact that McCain was not on a swift boat, while the men who made the ad were on boats that were on missions with Kerry.

Again, I say: Quid. Pro. Quo. Please.

It was a pre-emptive strike.

Kerry came out with that today because Bush personally attacked him on the $87 billion vote today.

I say "personally," because Bush's surrogates have been pounding Kerry for months on that vote, as have Bush's ads. I think this is the first time he brought it up in person though.

So Kerry needed to respond.
