OK, here's a deliciously difficult one for those who so enjoy media bashing on this board.
A reporter going to jail to insist on protecting his freedom of the press rights would normally delight you. But the fact that the info, if disclosed, is going to likely lead to criminal charges against a member of the administration surely complicates this situation.

And you know this......how?

First, "probably" is your opinion.
Second, if an administration official broke the law they should be prosecuted.
See that's the difference between us and you. We hold our leaders accountable, you turn a blind eye as long as they have a "D" beside their name.
Oh, and incidentally, I don't think a reporter should ever be required to disclose what their sources were unless it was an issue of national security. Most accounts put Plame as a low level analyst, so I wouldn't classiify her in that realm.

Oh, come on now, Niner, anyone who reads this board for a day would be aware of how most of the posters feel about the media.
And that line about holding your leaders accountable is one of the more ridiculous assertions you've made recently.
Other than that, we're pretty much in agreement.

Left-Wing Media=Sandy Berger Complacency.
Whatever happened to that SW?
BTW, it appears the NY Times, a leftist newspaper, was the one that "outed" the CIA worker. Do we hear about that from the mainstream press? Of course not.

Yes, but those with common sense wouldn't make the jump from conservatives have a problem with the libreral media to we're thrilled when a member is locked up.

Notice you didn't deny it. The fact is you libs will turn a blind eye to ANYTHING someone with a D beside their name says. Heck SF won't even call Garafolo to the carpet for using the term "house negro" to refer to a black member of the press.

Hey, even you can't be wrong all the time. :D
