"An NCAA panel has given Clemson a year to address problems in its athletics department before renewing its certification.
The NCAA wrote to Clemson President James Barker of four concerns: Clemson's commitment to minority opportunities and recruiting minority employment candidates; Clemson makes too many admissions exceptions for athletes; Clemson does not have a written policy to minimize athletes' conflicts with class time; Clemson did not file a necessary financial audit document.

The NCAA committee's questions were reported by The State of Columbia, S.C.

Certification is a mandatory process for all NCAA member schools."

The fact that NCAA will drop the entire athletics program of an ACC member barring significant changes is completely unacceptable, Clemson is a disgrace.

Boston College got the worst sports program in NCAA history. And academic reputation. No diversity either, 126% of there student body is white. There students arent smart. They have the worst academic reputation in the history of schools ever period. I think the Big East should replace Boston College, Syracuse, and Miami with Hofstra, SUNY-Buffalo, and Binghamton. That way we could have the best league ever formed. The revenue of this league would increase by 8000%. These schools would be a better fit because they are better athletically, academically and socially. Also better college towns. They are more fun. And our referees won't cheat. We'll bring in referees from across the country and internationally to assure unbiased officiating. This will be called the Deep Blue league and it will dominate the world.
