Our defense will get worn out at this rate. Time for the offense to decide if they've got any cojones or not. We still seem to be having trouble stopping the run.

Touchdown UVa.

28-21 UVa

Durant is injured and unlikely to return. Stephens is in and did nothing last drive.

This is like a bad recurring nightmare.

Field goal for UVa. It could have been worse.

31-21 UVa.

Right now, I'm just looking to see Stephens do something positive.

Touchdown Hoos. They missed the extra point.

37-21 UVa.

Just let the nightmare end, please.

Well, we're not gonna die yet.

Touchdown Aiken. We have to go for two, get an onside kick, get another touchdown, and go for two again.

Very improbable.

Stephens is sacked on the two-point conversion try after an offensive pass interference penalty.

37-27 UVa

Damn it, at halftime I felt very confident about winning this game; I thought we had this one. Yet, UVA stole the momentum, and we resorted to our mistakes for the second half, and it became UVA's game. This season is becoming a nightmare.

Thanks -- I tried everything I could think of superstition-wise to pull this one out for the guys. I stayed here for awhile, I went to the other board for awhile, I went to the Tar Pit for awhile... none of it worked.

I suspect Bunting has a similar feeling.

Tough loss, Heels. What is that - about 11 losses in a row in C'ville now? The Cavs are a buzzsaw right now...I sure am glad we get them next . I didn't expect Carolina to be 2-5 and in 8th place, but then again I didn't expect Tech to be sitting at 4-3 and in 7th place either...shows how much I know in this wacky season. Looks like we're heading up the same river...we've just got to hang in there and wait for the better days.

BTW, has anyone heard the severity of Durant's injury?
