Many think there will be 120 million at the polls this year.
I disagree.

Bomb throwers from all sides are worked up into a lather...but I think regular folks are just tired of it and unfortunately may not vote as a result of it...it's just too hard to get to the truth anymore with all the misinformation offered up at any given time by any give side.

Back to the sports threads soon. :)
120 mil at the polls if it doesn't rain, isn't too cold or hot, snow etc... It is sad that the weather may predict who is the next president.
What does it say about you and your party that weather is a factor?

Great point, Hencat.

But Karl Rove is convinced that 4 million evangelicals didn't vote for Bush in 2000, ostensibly because of the DUI story...so I guess that can cut both ways.

John Zogby spoke at the Cleveland City Club a week or two ago.

He brought that Rove stat up. He says he has no idea how Rove has come to believe that.

It may have been just a guess...who knows?

But on Hencat's point, we know with some certainty that Panhandle Floridians turned around and went home after the major news networks (including FoxNews, despite what Moore says) called Florida for Gore.

Don't mistake this as a complaint, however: I have absolutely no love or sympathy for the kind of idiot that wouldn't go to the polls based on some TV network calling a state. This may have happened with potential Gore voters, as well...
