GB at the bottom it says over 194 tons of HMX wasn't sealed properly. Did you read the whole article?? We have video footage with boxes of the HMX on April 18th. The 3 tons are RDX.

Dogger Wrote:The implication that the troops were responsible for this mess is absurd. The troops weren't told to search al Qaqaa at all, and they weren't told to secure the area even though the Bush administration knew there were stockpiles of explosives there. It's unimaginable and sickening that they would try to pass the blame to our troops in Iraq, especially since they were sent there with a force so small it made their mission prohibitively and unnecessarily difficult.

I guess the Bush strategy has shifted from ignoring reality to blaming the American troops for their mistakes. Is the Bush campaign's slogan now "It's the Troops' Fault Iraq Is a Mess"? Might as well be.

To think about the dismembered troops that has resulted from this is just plain bull****!!!
Dogger, are you so dumb as to believe that our troops have to wait for orders from Bush himself before they can decide whether to guard or search a weapons depot?
If our troops are being treated so badly by the administration then why does our military support Bush for reelection?

bearcat,

We should have had people in there gaurding the weapon's depot. You bet your *** that people were ORDERED to gaurd the ministry of OIL. Your position is indefensible.

Graybeard, whenever you cross the line from posting your thoughts into exercising your power as a mod to engage in third grade antics, I'm going to call you on it. Ban me if you don't like it. My problem isn't with idiots like you and RebKev posting your opinions. (See, that sentence was third grade because I called you an idiot). My problem is that mods should enforce the AUP in an unbiased manner and if you are unwilling to exercise your authority in an adult manner, you should stick to just being a poster.

Has Klutz Dio ever been back on, since I've stopped posting? That was someone who could post an argument and back it up. These right wing nut jobs banned him because he called em out and shredded every pathetic argument they had. Truly a shame we no longer have Klutz around. He truly gave balance to this web site. But Jesus went unto the sinners so MAKO just think of this as our cross to bear.

I forgive you guys. I just saw the light on this. It isn't really your fault for being MISLED. It's your upbringing. You probably weren't taught to question authority. That sometimes people in power lie to the masses to try to keep that power. You are forgiven for your trespasses against me. Especially you niner. I forgive you.

Doggy makes me laugh.

I'm amazed at how orgasmic Doggy gets on a story that has yet to provide a clear picture of what actually occurred. But then there's nothing else in his life to get orgasmic over, so why deny him the pleasure?

My feeling on this.

If the explosives were removed prior to Saddam being deposed, so what? Moving explosives from bunkers so they don't get bombed is common practice in war.

If they were removed after the army took the facility and then moved on to Bagdhad, leaving the facility it speaks to a problem with the invasion we've known for a while now, we needed more troops on the ground to secure things like that facility. However the explosives there account for 1/10th of 1 PERCENT of the explosives we've destroyed.

In war, mistakes happen. It's a good thing Doggy and SF weren't alive during WWII. Can you imagine the joy they'd be feeling if FDR were a republican and news came out that over 700 soldiers died while training for D-Day? Imagine the insane posts on messageboards then (if they'd had them).

Doggy you can take your "forgiveness" and stick it where the sun don't shine.

Let me be plain, if you were on fire I wouldn't pee on you to put it out.

But I forgive you for being the kind of person you are.

OK, so it is 197 tons, not 3 tons and not 300 tons. How could that much stuff disappear if it was there when we arrived? It would take many trucks (and I am not talking about Isuzu's or Toyotas).

Mako, I will ask you one more time...If you have a problem with me or one of the other mods, either PM that mod or go tattle to one of the admins about it. Now, if you have something to add to this thread, feel free to post, if not...Don't. You have posted twice on this thread and both posts have nothing to do with the thread, just your incessant whining.

You don't see Dogger complaining about what I said do you? Then why don't you get over yourself and either post some substance or go back to "NOT POSTING HERE ANYMORE".

No, I am just saying that it doesn't take high end explosives to take down a plane.

Saying that I hate you would be misunderstanding the situation. I don't have any emotional feeling towards you in any way. That's how little I think of you. Pity is about as close to emotion as I come where you are concerned, but it really stops as that.

The hate has always come from you and gone to Bush. You hate him with a passion that I can't even comprehend. What's bad is that if he wins on Tuesday you'll continue the hate. If he loses your life will be empty and meaningless because you will have lost your purpose for living, that is hating Bush.

As far as you wanting the truth to be out there? :roflol:  :roflol:

It's funny how you keep saying that over and over, but it is blatantly false. In the article that YOU referenced it reads, in plain English, that they do not know what it is that they filmed. It is hilarious that you ignore YOUR own sources of information and continue to keep lying.

ccs178 Wrote:You aren't very good at lying. From the article you quoted:

Eyewitness News Video May Be Linked to Missing Explosives in Iraq
KSTP-TV, Minneapolis/St. Paul

<a href='http://www.truthout.org/docs_04/102904Y.shtml' target='_blank'>http://www.truthout.org/docs_04/102904Y.shtml</a>

Quote:On Wednesday, 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS e-mailed still images of the footage taken at the site to experts in Washington to see if the items captured on tape are the same kind of high explosives that went missing in Al Qaqaa. Those experts could not make that determination.

The footage is now in the hands of security experts to see if it is indeed the explosives in question.

It also interesting to note that from July 2002 to January 2003 that 138 tons of explosives were removed without the IAEA ever saying a word to the UN Security Council about it. This is the smoking gun, in my opinion, that not only proves that inspections were NOT working, but by actively concealing violations the inspectors were assisting the Iraqis in violating their own sanctions. The IAEA violated their own mandate.

So, instead of "invading Iraq is wrong" you are now saying that we did not attack quick enough? Were we too quick to go to war or not quick enough? Should we have waited for more inspections or should we have attacked sooner? Will you ever make up your mind or does your blind hatred doom you to a life of misery?

I'm sorry you feel that way. To me not peeing on somebody to extinguish a fire seems to me quite hateful. To even imagine somebody on fire to me sounds quite deranged. Call me crazy! Maybe too many bell ringers from Leonard Little left you that way. There's some evidence that serial killers who have no contempt for their vcitims sometimes have had head trauma in their frontal lobes. You should should seek some counseling if you continue with these images of your fellow man. wuhf scary indeed.
