Why wouldn't have we designated this site and gaurded it immediately. How could we have left this whole site ungaurded but GAURD the ministry of oil on the first day. We gaurded the oil platforms before we went in. If we truly went in for WMD's, why didn't we gaurd this place from Day 1?????
You, sir, are about to drive me insane. What won't we answer? We've all tried to explain to you:
1) We, as in nobody, know whether those explosives were there when our troops arrived or not. The doors were sealed, but the inside of the bunkers could be accessed through ventilation shafts. You and your ilk have decided that this is the issue of the friggin' election. You will not listen to reason. If the facts come out and point to an error, I'll be one of the first to say that somebody made a boo-boo and since the buck stops at the top, I'll blame W. But until then, I'm skeptical of a story that was leaked by a UN official who will most likely lose his job if W is re-elected. How dare me!
2) What you want us to answer is an idiotic question that I've tried to answer, along with almost everybody else. We can't guard a place we haven't reached yet during a war that hasn't been fought yet. Again, prove to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that those weapons were there.
3) I'm tired of this Ministry of Oil crap. We did not go into Iraq for oil. If we had, that would be the blunder of the war. In case you haven't noticed, oil is off the charts. Gas prices are rising. If we went for oil, we failed. Also, The Iraqi people will make their living off of the juice beneath their feet. Protiecting that infrastructure was high on the list because it will feed them and help them become prosperous. So please shut the freak up with this black helicopter, conspiratorial, spurrious accusation.
In closing, do us all a favor and wait until we know what happened. You posted a link to a NYT article that you said proved the explosives were there. I saw nothing like that in there. I am willing to wait to find out the facts. You should be too.
