The fact that I value all human life equally does not make me a Christian. It is the reverse. The fact that I am a Christian is why I feel that I must value all human life equally.
Unfortunately, too many people in this country mold their own beliefs to the Bible, instead of vice versa. Not many people in this country can accept Christ's radical message, including myself.
when you calm down, perhaps you can translate this into a coherent philosophy, moral or otherwise.
there's damn few christians in the countries you identify, yet you claim there is an agenda to kill the christians where they are few.
and you avoid the issue of what this country, consisting of christians, jews, muslims, buddhists, bahai's, hindus, atheists, etc., should do in response to mass murder perpetrated on all of its citizens, and ongoing threats to increase the carnage.
nevermind. go back to focusing on the outrage of rebelkev telling you to kiss his, or someone's, ***.
When I calm down? I don't see any evidence that I was riled up. Frustrated about RebelKev's double standards? Of course. But I wasn't ever out of control. To my recollection, I told no one to kiss my monkey ***.
I'm sorry that your reading comprehension level seems to be on par with a 5th grader. Was the word "radical" too advanced for you? I see nothing complicated about what I said, but I will boil it down for you. Christ came and said "Follow me." He also made it very clear that the Old Covenant of wrath toward enemies was fulfilled through his gospel of peace and forgiveness. Most Christians in the country do not follow this philosophy. This presents a logical contradiction within the understanding of Christ's message in America and the truth of the gospel.
God's most precious gift to humanity was life. Without a doubt, life is the most important gift that we, as Christians, ought to protect. For the most part, people in America want to save the most lives as possible. However, people become spiteful at say, Arafat, Saddam, the French, and become incredibly reckless in the way they approach live taking. It is my belief that in order for Christians to be a people of peace that we must both ensure life for the unborn and also, be more ready to die than to kill. If Christians were more ready to die, we would not need to kill. The problem? Christians don't want to die and be with God. On the whole, Christians would rather live in a false sense of security within the borders of their country than to be at rest with God.
There is, without a doubt, an American agenda to kill Christians. However, I wouldn't say American strategy is to target Christians. The agenda is to kill the bad guys, regardless of how many Christians, babies, women and elderly people die in the process.
I don't have a foreign policy. Why? Because I have a church of people who are more ready to die than to kill. That is how Christians must live. Do you think Christ was ready to kill his oppressors, or do you think he was ready to die for the sake of humanity? Accordingly, we ought to be ready to die at any moment for the sake of living a Christly life.
