Still waiting.

"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him."
- G.W. Bush, 9/13/01

"I want justice...There's an old poster out West, as I recall, that said, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive,'"
- G.W. Bush, 9/17/01, UPI

"...Secondly, he is not escaping us. This is a guy, who, three months ago, was in control of a county [sic]. Now he's maybe in control of a cave. He's on the run. Listen, a while ago I said to the American people, our objective is more than bin Laden. But one of the things for certain is we're going to get him running and keep him running, and bring him to justice. And that's what's happening. He's on the run, if he's running at all. So we don't know whether he's in cave with the door shut, or a cave with the door open -- we just don't know...."
- Bush, in remarks in a Press Availablity with the Press Travel Pool,
The Prairie Chapel Ranch, Crawford TX, 12/28/01, as reported on
official White House site

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
- G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

"I am truly not that concerned about him."
- G.W. Bush, repsonding to a question about bin Laden's whereabouts,
3/13/02 (The New American, 4/8/02)

With people like this, God could have an "R" by his name and they would still oppose him.......wait, they already do.

Seriously guys, are you not at all annoyed that he is just running around doing whatever he feels.

Forget politics.

Forget party lines, forget Dubya & Clinton & Gore & whomever else.

Think as a country.

How can you just sit there and not expect more?

I wonder if this guys family is proud of Dubya's job in making Osama a top priority?

I guess its a good thing that we got SoDamn Insane rather than the guy who attacked us.

Great Job DUBYA!!!!!!!!!

That should be good enough. Im sure we will find him one day.

I just dont see how the guy that supposedly masterminded an attack plus other attacks can just run around for YEARS.

We are the freakin United State of Amurica. If we really wanted him caught, I see no reason why it should of already be accomplished.

Ex-Marine Says Public Version of Saddam Capture Fiction

A former U.S. Marine who participated in capturing ousted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein said the public version of his capture was fabricated.

Ex-Sgt. Nadim Abou Rabeh, of Lebanese descent, was quoted in the Saudi daily al-Medina Wednesday as saying Saddam was actually captured Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, and not the day after, as announced by the U.S. Army.

"I was among the 20-man unit, including eight of Arab descent, who searched for Saddam for three days in the area of Dour near Tikrit, and we found him in a modest home in a small village and not in a hole as announced," Abou Rabeh said.

"We captured him after fierce resistance during which a Marine of Sudanese origin was killed," he said.

He said Saddam himself fired at them with a gun from the window of a room on the second floor. Then they shouted at him in Arabic: "You have to surrender. ... There is no point in resisting."

"Later on, a military production team fabricated the film of Saddam's capture in a hole, which was in fact a deserted well," Abou Rabeh said.

Abou Rabeh was interviewed in Lebanon.

In case you forgot there is currently around 20k US troops in Afghanistan providing security for the new govt and people as well as searching for any Al Q cells including OBL. And there is a fair possibility that OBL is dead, I mean how credible are all the grainy audio tapes which are remixes and samples of **** OBL has already said, how about him coming out and talking about something tangible to prove he's still alive, all he ever says is death to the infidels blah blah blah, OBL is either dead, or sick/weakened and hiding in a cave shitting in a jar. If hes alive he will either be caught or die in a remote cave or basement of some adobe in the middle of the desert.

You really hate the President, don't you?

Maybe Mr. Presidents comments are a ploy to make the terrorist feel a litlle less 'hunted' hoping he might then make a mistake.

Oh, and I am sure you would never fault the previous administration (the true morons) for letting osama get away, what, three times? Had Billary cared for the USofA they would have thwarted this threat way before 9/11. Maybe they were to concerned with what they were going to steal from the White House on their way out....

That sounds more like what I think would have happened.

The gov't would never fabricate a story would they? Would you rather have the world (and more importantly his followers) think he was a coward hiding in hole or a fighter to the death?

How about the gov't saying that the flight 93 passengers forced the plane down in PA? Problem is that one of the engines was found a mile or two away from the rest of the crash scene. And we all remember Rumsfelds slip up...

btw - My son recently joined the USAF and one of the other airman had a cousin in Iraq who was involved with the capture. At graduation I saw pictures of them posing with saddam after they had beat his *** pretty good. It brought a smile to my face. If your post is true I could understand the beating a little more.

We don't have a crystal ball with a tractor beam to just beam him up to Gitmo. Maybe this guy is pretty clever and hard to find. Just maybe. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big fan of Bush, but I certainly don't think he would let him go to pull off another 9/11 no matter what some might say. This is a losing issue, please try again. 03-nutkick
