Want to speed up an already fast FireFox? Here's a way.

----------------------------------------------
Type in your address box "about:config"

-Scroll down to "network.http.pipelining" right click -> toggle so it changes to "true"
-Now go down to "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" -> modify and set as "100"
-Now go down to "network.http.proxy.pipelining" -> toggle so it changes to "true"
----------------------------------------------

What this does is speed up the number of requests and turns on pipelining. In other words, it increases the amount of times it asks to go. The more sent, the quicker it goes.

(Just so you are wondering...there will be daily computer tips)

I've found MANY web servers that get confused with pipelining enabled.

Have a look at this thread from Jan 2005

OK-maybe I am as obtuse as everyone thinks. Do I type about:config in the address box at the top of the page which shows the URL's?
