Matt Cain (giants)- 4 GS, 3-0, 1.75 ERA, 1 CG (the 7 inning variety), 25.2 IP, 10 H, 11 BB, 29 K's.
King Felix (mariners)- 3 GS, 1-2, 1.59 ERA, 17 IP, 8 BB, 17 K's.
those are some pretty nice numbers. these are the 2 best pitching prospects in the game, and obviously you can see that.

Those are great numbers, but I think McCarthy is better than both of them.

i don't think so. his numbers are not nearly as good as hernandez or cain. also, McCarthy is 22, while cain is 21 and felix is 19. so stat wise they're better, and at a younger age.

You may be right. I have not seen them very much, but from what I have seen of McCarthy I've been very impressed. But that's just me.

McCarthy sucked today against the bulls.
6.2 innings, 4 ER, 2 BB, 11 K's. a lot of K's, but not a good performance, especially when you consider who he was playing. i mean, the bulls can't hit at all. that's one thing i would know, seeing as how i'm at all of their home games. BTW, upton hit a homer off mccarthy. his ERA so far is 4.25.
also, i forgot to tell you braves fans that richmond was just in to play us. I never knew marte was hispanic. i always thought he was white. also, i saw davies pitch. he wasn't overly impressive. he had very good command and a nice curveball. his fastball was weak. it topped out at 90 and was usually at 88. T. Pena didn't really impress me either. but he's still young.
the best name so far is, Angel Pagan for Norfolk. just think about those 2 words.
