Who did you vote for, if I may so inquire?
No one
Nice vote.....

If you don't vote, I say STFU. You don't have a right to *****. It's people like you who make me sick.
People like you bother me. We don't have to vote in this country. We have the freedom to vote or not to vote, and we all have the right to ***** as Americans. This you don't vote you don't get to complain is a cop out for people that can't come up with a better argument. I personally choose to vote, but don't think less of those that don't. Maybe they don't like any of the candiadates and don't have a blind loyalty to either party. Uninformed voting is a big problem in this country. With all of our technology, there is not reason not to know who you are voting for, but some still enter the booth and vote for the person whose name they recognize.
There may not be a candidate in the "two party" system that is appealing, but that doesn't mean that there is not a candidate out there. If worse came to worst, You could always write in a vote. This doesn't even mention the the other topics on the ballot such as senators, representatives, and referrendums. There are plenty of reasons to vote.

Not voting is the cop out. I never said you have to vote in this country. However, it is my opinion that if you don't voice your opinion at the poll, STFU after the fact.

I am trying to follow your logic JTiger. What could be a better argument than if you don't vote you shouldn't complain? I see it everyday at work. People bitching about problems. When you ask them what they have done to try to fix the problem, "Nothing." I have a hard time feeling sorry for them. What is more compelling than telling someone that has done nothing to get things changed to quit crying over the results?

And I strongly disagree with you. Maybe someone is exercising their right not vote. Maybe they just don't want to. In this country, we don't have the bill of rights tied to our voting frequency. We still have the right to ***** about whatever we please, without having the prerequisite of voting. I personally voted, but don't have a problem with those that didn't (unless you live in Ohio and were leaning Kerry, j/k). I still think the you don't vote you don't get to complain is a weak argument. It's a popular one, but a weak one nonetheless. It's a short quick blurb that people like to repeat.

I personally believe that everyone should vote. But in the last election IMO there was no one to vote for. I did not like Bush and Kerry did not represent my views, so I abstained from voting.

You will hear me making comment about our President that is not positive, but I will not ***** (or at least I hope not).

I like how we have turned a thread about something that we can't vote on, into a voting thread. Good job blah :bluethumb:

Obviously, I wasn't around for the beginning of the thread and I felt compelled to comment on your "no vote" response. Feel free to get back to discussing the murder of innocent babies at any time.

I think we have beat that horse (let's hope it was a guilty one) to death at least for one thread. I am sure the topic will be discussed over and over and .....

Having the ability to select ones master makes them no less a slave.
