Y'all have been more than enough help pointing out the Georgia was our only competition thus far. It's a big rivalry and it was a great game (I was there courtside). Let us have our glory until the next game. But when we try to look forward to the next game (Minnesota) you bash us too. We can't win with you!!
OMFG!

HILARIOUS!

Please explain the "bashing"...

"Tech isn't even ranked.." (yet)

Mark it down... Tech will pick off Duke in Atlanta if nothing else.

Duhon has his head stuck up his arse, Coach K is Hitler's lost cousin, and Dook won't even finish Top 2 in conference.

Put that in your Dook dream pipe and smoke it.

One half does not a star make. The guy didn't even start tonight.
It's true, it's true...

I'll wait a few more halves before I start calling him the next JayWill. :D
He'll be lucky to become the next Andre Buckner. 03-wink

GTS, you might wanna let the ACC voting committee that Duhon isn't good (if that's what you're implying), and tell them what idiots they are for picking him preseason PLAYER OF THE YEAR in the ACC.

You also might wanna tell Davidson's PG, who is gonna turn heads this year, BTW, and Cedric Bozeman, UCLA's "super soph" PG that Duhon isn't good, cause he just tore them up.

Wayne Bernard (Davidson's PG) had 28 points against Duhon's 20...Duhon sure DID do some tearing up. And if GT wins by 22 and it isn't stomping, then Duke's 15 over Davidson sure wasn't a big defeat either...watch the double standards buddy.

He gets POTY and I inherit Bill Gates' fortune.

He's arrogant as hell, and I'll laugh when his Godlike image of himself and team get crushed.

"Duke's second string could contend for the ACC title" - Duhon

Hope that's posted in every lockeroom in the ACC.

I'm not saying Tech is better than Duke, but I do think we have a good chance this year of hanging with them and possibly beating them. Rankings aren't always a great representation of what's really going on. (And that doesn't mean I think Tech should be #1 over Duke) I don't think you're being fair. But I don't live in a "little sheltered world" and I'm definitely awake; I don't expect everyone to agree with my opinions about my team and I don't expect everyone to be fair. Bashing wasn't a great word choice; I just think you're being a little stubborn and holier than thou (what more could I expect from a Dookie?). I'll argue with you til I'm out of breath. We shall see what the rest of the season holds.

Sagarin Rankings mean **** over the first few weeks. You have to get a GOOD ways into your schedule for those to even be remotely consistent and accurate, and ask the MAC fans on this site how they feel about the football version of Sagarin rankings. They'll have quite a yarn to weave.

GTS, and that quote will hold water soon, very soon. Our 2nd team is almost as good as our first.

GTballgirl or whatever, Duhon had 20 pts, 10 assists and 8 rebounds, 2 rebounds away from a triple double, which is very rare at the college level.

YES! He did tear Bernard up.

Because the AP and ESPN/Coaches poll doesn't go to 326* teams, I had to use Sagarin, which is regarded by many as a great rankings source.

*- 326 because I only needed to use up to 326 for AUPB.

You'll see. Ya know who played most of the minutes against UCLA? Redick, Duhon, Sanders and Horvath. 3 of those are on our 2nd team. You'll see, and be prepared to eat crow.

I guess we shall see. It's about damned time you didn't post something about me "not giving due credit" or what not.

BTW, yes I am arrogant. What do you expect from a fan of a team that is 130-15 over the last 4 years?

But the real question is, "what is the real reason Nate likes Duke??" because they are winners?? probably...you don't need to know much because it's Duke...you don't need to know what support and team spirit is because when you're Duke, that's unnecessary. You don't need to know what you're talking about because if coach K picked them, they must be good. My guess is 4 years ago you were like "oh look, a good basketball team" and jumped on the band wagon. What is your association with Duke Nate?? Just wondering.
