Seriously, kick the F'ers out. Of course, I think France is getting what it deserves. Let's see what happens when the leftists that run that country try to appease these idiots. I'd shoot the bastards, center mass.

Quote:"The government is entirely mobilized. Its immediate priority is to restore public order, and restore it without delay," de Villepin said.
This is clearly the best quote in this article. Phew, without delay? Thank whatever god may be.

This is so comical coming from a country that ridicules the US for it's job practices, civil unrest and social policies.
F'n retards.

Ridiculous business regulations have made hiring in general, let alone hiring ethnic minorities who don't speak a word of French, very difficult in this generally xenophobic country. Couple that with generous cradle-to-grave welfare benefits, public housing giveaways (France gov't owns something like 30% of all housing in the country?), and the continued fostering of the balkanized "Victim" mentality that permeates societies that are warm to socialism, and this is what results: Angry, marginalized "youths" who feel they deserve it all and lash out at the very country that welcomed them into the arms and away from the backwater hole they came from.
I'm not against immigration. In fact, I love immigration. But this is what happens when said immigrants are tucked into public housing blocks and sit on the government dole with no interaction with the rest of society. When immigrants have no choice but to work hard and assimilate with others around them, these fractured zones are less likely to happen.
Sad, really. It's a shame of what's happened in Europe.

This was my favorite quote....
Quote:Muslim leaders at Clichy-sous-Bois' (search) mosque, meanwhile, prayed for peace and asked parents to keep teenagers off the streets after skirmishes broke out after two teenage boys were electrocuted last Thursday while hiding in a power substation because they believed police were chasing them.
So let me get this straight, everyone is rioting because 2 juvenile delinquents died after hiding from the police in a power substation? I haven't heard anything that stupid since the dems rallied around Cindy Shithan, after her son, who volunteered for active service, died.

Good read.
Here's a <a href='http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/11/03/france.riots/' target='_blank'>nice quote</a>.
Quote:A police union official proposed establishing a curfew and bringing in the military to help handle the rioting, while some members of the opposition Socialist Party have suggested the police should withdraw from the communities to quell the unrest.
Brilliant...

Either way the result would be the same. We Surrender, We Surrender!
