The coaching pay scale just went up a notch. It must be nice to bank on BCS dollars.

It could be a couple of days or a couple of weeks before Donovan signs, but I would expect Coach K to hit 4 million the next time Duke wins a title.

Bob Stoops is somewhere smiling. Football is the cash cow and when he wins his second, look out.

Florida sure got a good deal on Urban Meyer: 7 years, $14 million. Will he ask for a raise? Doesn't matter, just chicken feed to the UF boosters.

I had heard some Kentucky fans say that the Florida people had vowed to outbid Kentucky for Donovan, and they seem to have been right. It may very well be that the Nick Saban signing has triggered a bidding war for top college coaches. Given the enormous amount of money colleges are making playing big-time basketball and football these days, it's hardly surprising.

Does anyone think if the BCS reamins in tact that "it" should be separated by sports... in other words, what if there was just a BCS basketball & footabll separately... with the TIGERS' winning ways lately i wonder what kind of money would be added to the university annually.
