You have woken a sleeping giant. In response to moving my sUGAr Bowl post I felt compelled to share my pictoral essay of some of the finer moments from FSU's season.

Terrance Martin (90), Jerrick Hall (93) and Dantonio Burnette (45) stop Florida State running back Nick Maddox for a loss.

Victor Stephens (8) helps fans to bring down the goalposts after the team's 17-7 upset of No. 14 Florida State.

Florida State's Chris Rix hits the ground hard after trying to leap Miami defenders Jonathan Vilma and Andrew Williams during second-half action.

Florida State kicker Xavier Beitia attempts a final second, game-winning field goal. The 43-yard attempt went wide left and Miami won the game, 28-27.

Florida State running back Greg Jones is sandwiched between two Notre Dame defenders including Mike Goolsby, right, as he struggles for third quarter yardage.

Brennan Curtin, center, celebrates the team's 34-24 win over Florida State. Also in the celebration is the team mascot, lower left, and Carlos Campbell in the background above
