Both teams play their first conference game tomorrow. FSU is off to a strong start under their new coach, while my Heels are 6-2.

As a Tar Heel I am pumped. Coming off a win vs. Vermont, I think we have the momentum on our side. In addition, our players and coaches are ready to go out and prove something in the ACC. FSU is going to be a very tough opponent, especially in Tallahasse, but is any team in the ACC going to be easy this year? Every game, every night, wherever the location, the games could go either way this year in the ACC.

A few things:

1) That was a HUGE win for us!

2) I wouldn't worry too much about your team, Paul. They aren't going to finish first in the ACC, but they are going to be a threat to any team in the ACC on any night. It's going to be an up and down season, but I think you'll have plenty to get excited about.

Great win for our program.

The positives from this game:

Byron had 8 points in 8 minutes!

David had 5 points.

Raymond had 11 assists/2 turnovers and 5 steals!

This team can win even when Rashad and Sean aren't on the top of their games.

It is good to see our guys come out from halftime, after a mediocre first half, to put FSU away in the second half.

Actually we played pretty decent for most of the game.

I think it was Rick, who wrote last April that this Hamilton
"could flat out coach."

I think the guy can...That's really been our problem.

Kennedy was a "great recruiter" but he couldn't coach!

Robinson couldn't recruit...but I didn't think he was a bad
coach.

Hamilton can do both.
