Is anybody besides Lucy having this problem?

Things look fine to me.

If there is a problem, switch your color settings to 24/32 bit.

An IBM clone Pentium II at home. I'll have to check what kind of monitor when I get home.

FWIW, I have a Compaq computer & monitor here at work and while the color is a little lighter & easier to read, it still is not as good as on the other boards where you have added team skins. Particularly where the setting definition is hard to read is the black text on the dark gray background (hope this information helps).

What's the problem (other than the fact that my avatar looks like crap on this board)?

Yep, the gray does nothing for your NC!

I've been having problems reading text on this board because of the darkness/intensity of the colors. So I've been giving GTS updates as to what the problems were in case it would help alleviate things (not that it appears that anyone is having problems except for me).

I've asked around and you are the only one having this contrast problem.

Try turning up the intensity on your monitor.

Also, see if there is a "true" color setting on your computer.

All colors I use are found in the Webmaster's Palette and should come out the exact same color on every system.

JD...

Not true.

The Carolina Blue and Gray looks good.

Just a few years back, Carolina wore silver pants and
back in the 60's and before...Carolina wore silver helmets.

Now the blue needs to be darkened just a tad...but it's ok!

"True" color setting is 24 bit and that is what my display settings are on. I adjusted "contrast" to the maximum setting & it's a wee bit better...I'll live with it. Thanks for the help.

Oh, I have no problem with the grey itself -- it's just my avatar looks terribly bad on these darker backgrounds.
