The last I checked ACC was 4-3 in bowl games vs 3-4 SEC.

Ole Miss lost to UGA with their STARTING QB in Eli Manning
FSU had a 3rd string qb and WR at qb for the Sugar Bowl ( not making excuses on our QB situation either, UGA won fair and square)

31-17 and 26-13 not that much of a difference in the two games

Its funny how you mention about someone running their mouth, the Gators, your SEC counterpart did the same if not more vs FSU but thats ok because they play in this all world conference the SEC

Everyone has a problem with the ACC playing football, well deal with it.
You would think everytime a team that is from the ACC steps on a football field its blowout city.

Since you have something to say about the ACC what was that Maryland/Tenn. score again??
Oh I forgot, Tennessee wasnt into that game, they werent mentally prepared to play an ACC team. Excuses, excuses, excuses.
Funny but it seems that anytime an ACC team wins an OOC game its all about how the other team wasnt prepared because they are afraid of the FACTS that they LOST to an ACC team
When you beat a team from the ACC, then you have all the smack in the world to talk about this conference.

Peanut can talk all he wants to, but it seems to me that we played UGA pretty tough. Take away the dropped Tallman Gardner pass and the interception by Walker that should have been thrown out of bounds( His inexperience at QB IMO) and what do you have, an FSU win by 1 point.
From looking at the results of bowl games played this year, I think that the ACC held their own a lot better than the SEC.

You've got a lot of nerve coming over to this board... you've been whining for years about how Ole Miss sucks... I'm a bigger supporter for Ole Miss than you'll ever be. Georgia blew Ole Miss out of the water, but they didn't do that to FSU. They also blew Georgia Tech and Arkansas away. FSU held Georgia's offense to only field goals in the second half of the game. Now you better behave or I'll go and get the Rebels over here to put you back in your place 05-nono

I'm sorry y'all. Somehow, Coach got out of the padded cell again. He's our village idiot and he tends to babble about nothing. In his mind (and MsNole can back me up on this), he's got a private jet and a skybox at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. He swore up and down that Mississippi State would kill us in the Egg Bowl, yet he disappeared when we actually won the game. We've tried for years to figure out how his mind works, but to no avail.

Anyway, it was a really good game and you guys had several chances to make it interesting in the end.

Okay Peanut, come on and let's go. Let's get you back to the hospital.

Cheers!

Thank you...thank you...I'll be here all week. Be sure to tip your waiters and waitresses! 04-cheers

Peanut is an easy clean up job. Just prove him wrong or make him look like an idiot once or twice, and he tends to shut up.

Oh, and rickheel, good luck to the Heels in hoops this year! My dad is a UNC grad, so they are my second team in college basketball. It's kind of fun, because one of my best friends is a Duke grad and we love rooting against him. 03-wink

Please do not be insulted or inflamed by anything Peanut says. He is supposed to be an Ole Miss alum but he constantly puts our team, coaches, fans, administration - in general - everyone down.

FSU had a great game considering the circumstances. Like some one said, "Except for a couple of tactical errors and a dropped pass, it would have possible been a win for FSU."

Lots of games are that way. We could have won more games this year except for a few bad plays or missed opportunities. It's a sport with an oblong ball. The ball isn't always going to bounce back to you. Ya'll know that without me saying it. FSU is not dead by a long shot. You showed that by whipping Florida and you had Miami in your sights.

Peanut is a certified as_hole (most of the time) and we ignore him, that is why he came over here to try and start some shi_.

MsNole...

[ 05-nono ] What you saw in the second half of the Sugar Bowl was Mark Richt calling off the Dogs to avoid embarrassing his friend and mentor, Bobby Bowden. Check the post game interviews...it's all there in Red and Black.

[ 05-nono ]

Coach Peanut....don't let this sorry bunch of Noles fans run you off this board. [ 05-nono ]

This was one of the posts that I was reading a few days ago and once again, here comes someone into this sacred board that 3 to 4 people lay claim to and posts a comment about the Sugar Bowl. And when the same usual suspects here don't agree with him, they tell him to leave or they call him names and insult him.

Hey Peanut...Keep on posting dude.

Im not saying the ACC is better than the SEC, but come on guys, give us some respect. We did win 4 bowl games, you guys won 3. Not much difference. The ACC did not have a good year this year, especially Tech, FSU(didn't have their best season), UNA, and Clemson. The others are on the rise. In two or three years, Tech will be better, UVA will be AWESOME, and FSU will probably be good as usual.

Damascus...you are right to point out that the ACC did better than the SEC in the bowls this season. But you got it wrong...The SEC was 2 for 5. The SEC totally sucked in the bowls. LSU was pitiful, Florida sucked, Arkansas was disappointing, Ole Miss had no business going to a bowl, and Tennessee got what they deserved. Thank God for Georgia and Auburn!

I thought the way Maryland dismantled Tennessee was the next best thing to the 'Dawgs beating FSU. Casey Claussen is an arrogant under-achiever exposed by the Maryland defense as an ineffective QB who had no right to play on the field with real men.

Looking at the bowls one would have to conclude that the ACC was certainly a much stronger conference than the SEC. But at least our conference champion deserved to be in a BCS bowl.
