Digital Camera Help
I wanting to purchase a digital camera but I don't want to pay over $200 for it. I've never owned one so I don't need anything to complicate. (Currently, I'm using disposable cameras so anything is an upgrade).

Can any of you technology gurus recommend a camera that is easy to use but not too expensive?

Thanks

We have a casio exilim, and LOVE it:

it's small, has a big viewing window, and takes great pics...it looks like a coupld of the "zoom" ones are in the $225 range...a little over your budget, but not by much.

Go for a Canon Elph series. It's small and takes great pictures. My wife and I have this one.

However if size isn't a big deal I have a Sony I am looking to sell.

It's a little bulky for me to carry in my pockets at the kids sports events so we went with the Canon listed above. The Sony is a great camera that was well taken care of, and I'll sell it cheap to a Tiger fan. Just PM me if you are interested or want more info.

I'll look into all of these.

And thanks jtiger on the offer but I'm looking for something a little smaller too.

Best Buy has a Kodak Z710 on sale this week. Normally $299, reduced to $249, the $20 knocked off, and then a $50 instant savings====$179. It's a 7.1 megapixel with a 10X optical zoom ! It's a "bigger" camera, but a kick a$s one.

Was this at Costco? They have had and do have some red hot deals on Kodak. This is/was one of them. It is a solid value...great camera.
