Vote for Memphis Band!
Just got this email, and wanted to get some people with an interest in Memphis to get exposure to this. Even if Jeff wasn't one of my 2 best friends, and also in a long-distance band with me, The Central Standards would still be one of my favorite bands. Help them break out and represent Memphis to the world!

We are hoping you will help us with another contest in which we're
participating. As most of you know, your support and votes helped propel us
into the winner's circle in last year's Rock 103 Great Unsigned Battle of
the Bands. The experience of opening up the Beale Street Music Fest last
year was a musical highlight for all of us and we have you to thank.
This week, we're asking for your votes in an online video contest on the
website http://www.musicnation.com. Voters and judges are choosing one video per
week to compete in further rounds that lead to a recording contract with
Epic records. Seeing as we have a music video for our tune "So Much
Clearer" which was directed by our friend and fellow GHS alum Waheed
AlQawasmi, we knew we should go for it! We've decided to put all of our
emphasis on one week of voting and that week is here!
Here's what we'd like you to do:
1) Forward this e-mail to EVERYONE you know who might vote for us!
2) You can vote online for our video ONCE PER DAY THIS WEEK (Monday to
Sunday) by following this link: http://musicnation.com/v591.
3) You can also text message our code (V591) ONCE PER DAY THIS WEEK to
NATION (628466).
4) If you have time, leave a comment on the site giving your feedback about
the video/song/band.
