Tittan's NFL star in trouble again
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/...OE=SPOISVA

The lead story on criminal activity during the NBA All-Star game? An NFL player involved in a shooting that results in paralysis for one of the victims. For those who cite criminal activity as a reason to isolate the NBA for rebuke and criticism, this year HAS to be difficult to reconcile that argument with their (likely) pre-existing dislike for the league.

The NFL roster of thugs has grown quite sizeable, and at a faster rate, than the NBA. Furthermore, when it comes to high-profile events, college football contributed at least one incident that dwarfs the Malice in the Palace (that being the Miami riot). College sports aren't a bastion of innocence and genuine competition. At least not at the D-1 level. Go to D-III for that.

Thuggish behavior is bad, uhh-kay? But it's not limited to the NBA. In fact, the NBA doesn't lead professional sports in thuggish behavior. The dislike must be for a different reason, perhaps one that doesn't provide such a moral soapbox for those who want one, which might be why they won't admit to the true reason for their dislike.
