Anybody else who use these people having problems with with your connection speed?

Some days I get up to 6 MB but today I'm getting as low as 262 K.

Is there an alternative service that is better?

I'm having problems getting my bill. I haven't gotten a bill since comcast took over in January, and this morning I finally got through to someone and found out my balance. I have a late fee, and they wouldn't budge. It's comcastic!

They called my wife at work and tried to get her to make a payment over the phone because their billing is screwed up. They admit it's their fault so it's hard to believe they want a late fee. We are on the verge of dropping them if I can find a equal service, which lately could include dial up.

I dropped RR for Bell South.....did it before RR's acquisition. RR was screwed up but Comcast is apparently much worse. I lost nothing when I changed to BS...completely happy.

I just checked bellsouth's site. You have to have local phone service with them before you can get the dsl. That works out to about $18 more per month.

I can't do math...there isn't a late fee, but we just got our first bill today.

I've had DSL through Speakeasy. I've heard they offer "naked DSL" which doesn't require phone service, but it's more expensive.
