Bad news there. Doesn't Lucite (old Ineos Acrylics - old ICI) have an office in Cordova and an acrylic extrusion facility in Olive Branch? Yes they do! They also have a continous casting acrylic facility nearby. May be a way to get closer to Tiger football?? Just a thought.

What is lent? Religion's answer to the New Year resolution? I don't think I want to know.

Lent is the 40 day preparation for Holy Week. In the old days, many would fast during this period. Nowadays, Christians usually give up a luxury or commit themselves to extra community service during this time. It is also a symbol of the 40 days that Jesus spent in the wilderness.

About 4 years ago on the wednesday of lent, I was given floor seats at the grizz/warriors game, and late in the game golden state was shooting freethrows and Calbert Chaney was about 2 feet away from us with his hands on his knees resting, and my somewhat intoxicated buddy asked him "what it felt like to be the 12th man on the golden state warriors." Chaney just looked at us with a smirk. Chaney then proceeded to miss 2 threes in a row, one being a dead brick off the front of the rim. The next time down golden state got fouled and Chaney ended up right next to us again, and then my buddy asked Chaney "what did you give up for lent, was it your 3 point shot?" Now with Chaney about 3 feet away he looked at my friend and asked him if he wanted to find out after the game."

Kinda off topic, but I always found that to be a pretty funny story.
